Andrew has been to our home several times for both on and off hours calls and he has accurately diagnosed and/or repaired the problems each time. Blue Valley has provided quick estimates in writing, called to confirm appointments and even made arrangements to come earlier than anticipated. Every person I've spoken to on the phone has been knowledgeable and helpful. Blue Valley Heating & Cooling clearly cares about their customers and they have earned my business and heartiest recommendation for as long as I live here!

Blue Valley has been awesome to work with. They are always quick to respond to my questions or requests, and really stand by their work. They installed a new swamp cooler in our home and have been prompt to respond to any questions or issues we've faced. Truly recommend them, Karen in the office is wonderful to work with and the technicians have all been knowledgeable!

Cam was very helpful and friendly. He was able to diagnose the problem and offered me some solutions to replacing the unit. He sent me an email with a price estimate and warned me about a code violation that needs to be fixed. I would like to hire him again to replace the unit because his visit was so pleasant, however the cost of the unit may be more than what I can offer. If I determine I can afford it I will do so, but even if I don’t I will recommend him to friends and family if they need an HVAC pro.

STAY FAR AWAY from this company! I have no idea how they have so many good reviews... maybe I just got the one unethical technician, but no one else at the company has tried to help me out, either.
I had a problem with the boiler in my rental property. It was cold outside and I needed to get it fixed right away so I called Blue Valley based on their good reviews. First they charged $100 just to go out (which many other companies don't do). Then they charged me over $1000 to "fix" the problem, declared everything OK, and left. My tenant called me the next day and said nothing was fixed, so I had him call Blue Valley back out.
Over a period of 11 days, the technician went out at least 4 times (one time tracking mud all over the carpet and not cleaning it up), ended up charging me $1700, and declared everything fixed each time to my tenant. (But never called me to tell me what was going on.) After all this, the boiler was in exactly the same state as when he started and Blue Valley still never called me.
I finally called another plumber/HVAC company. They fixed the problem in 2 hours, gave me a list of everything that Blue Valley screwed up, and the total cost was $670. Here's that list, several things which are blatantly incompetent:
1) Zones were not wired right. Half were wrong.
2) Pressure was set too low for the height of the building
3) Mechanical room was dirty
4) Hot water set to 140 degrees, too high
5) Relief valve was never tied into the drain tube
After never receiving any communication from Blue Valley for almost 2 weeks, they just emailed me the invoice for $1700+. I emailed them back, giving them the list of what they screwed up and told them I was disputing the charges. They still haven't contacted me and just again sent me the invoice.
EDIT: Ha! I just noticed the owner replied to this 2 years after I posted it... and lied. Actually I do live in Colorado, have for the past 20+ years, and where I live had absolutely nothing to do with the dispute or him not calling me back. They did eventually "credit" me because I sent them a check for the parts and refused to pay for the labor.

Blue Valley was great to work with. We had a furnace and air conditioning system replaced with a new high efficiency Rheem system and we couldn't be happier. Great service from initial phone call, consultation and installation. I highly recommend them!

*Update* Our thermostat died yesterday and Jeremy came out within hours to address the problem. It was caused by a faulty product (that has actually been replaced numerous times) but they took care of us & made it right. These guys really care about keeping customers happy & are a stand up organization. Thank you Blue Valley Energy!
We had our furnace, AC & water heater replaced by these guys & I couldn't be happier that we went with them. The professionalism, responsiveness, respectfulness, attention to detail, knowledge of equipment, kindness, cleanliness, meticulous & hard work were unparalleled. I have to say it was an absolute joy to have Mark, Tom & Jacob in our home for 4 days -- their hard & conscientious work were apparent every step of the way, and it is very clear they weren't here 'just to get the job done' but to do it right & do it well. They protected the work area with cardboard on the floor & cleaned up at the end of each day. I highly recommend having any work done by Blue Valley! I wish I could hire them for everything we need done on the house!

We had recently purchased a house and we learned that our furnace wasn't working properly, the fan was just running continuously. We were a little concerned about the issue and the repair costs. Then Kevin arrived and displayed exceptional professionalism, punctuality, and responsiveness. He explained everything to us and we felt like no question was a stupid question. He was patient and knowledgeable. If and when we need Blue Valley again we will request Kevin. Thank you.
