For more than two decades, Dominick Fuel now known as Hop Energy has been our heating fuel/heating maintenance & repair provider. Could not be happier with their service, professionalism, promptness and fabulous customer service, Just today i was on the phone with Jessica going over our next fuel contract. She was not only precise and clear, but also very very personable. How often do you get that in customer service today? That's right, as rare as a sighting of a white buffalo. Yes, there are white buffalos, but they are rare. Thankfully, great customer service and prompt, reliable fuel delivery and heat maintenance is not rare in our experience with Hop Energy.
Dealt with Jessica to renew my contract. She was knowledgeable and patient as I asked my questions; there seemed to be an appreciation for our long standing relationship with Dominick and this was reflected in our conversation. (Would have given 5 stars but had a completely different experience a few days prior with someone else.)
Last Friday night when the outside temperature dropped into single digits our furnace (previously serviced by another company) began to rumble. One of the pipes began to drip. With the forecast promising -1F by early morning we began to panic. We called Dominick around 10pm. They said they would send somebody to take a look at the furnace. The technician arrived 30 minutes later. On a Friday night!!! In less than one hour he fixed everything. The furnace is working as it should now. All thanks to that amazing technician who arrived on Friday night around 11pm. Thank you very much!!!
I have been working with Jessica in customer service since HOP Energy took over Dominick Fuel. I was a Dominick Fuel customer prior. Today our service was performed by Marvin(?…I hope I am correct!) and he did a thorough cleaning & service of the equipment and all appears to be working well now. Very appreciative of the time he took servicing the system.
I called Customer Service to update our contract. The representative I talked to was very helpful in giving me the information I needed to update the new contract. I was very satisfied.
Answer T was great. She was courteous and helpful. She showed great patience while taking the time to answer my questions. She normally works for Hoffman but handled the Dominick Hop customer help line expertly. Thank you
The tech was not listening as to what the issue actually is. The heating system blows out cool air at times. His diagnosis is user error with the Nest thermostat. We've had Nest thermostats for over 2 years, so we are very familiar on how they work. Maybe your techs need better training with Nest thermostats. Bottom line issue was NOT "fixed'.
I am extremely pleased with Hopenergy/Dominick fuel they have provided us with the best possible service and assistance with our account and continue to do so. I would highly recommend them ! Also their customer representative I just spoke to was very concise, and accurate in going over my account information and updating my account in detail so we received a more affordable price on our fuel cost.
I am so happy with Dominick Fuel/Hop Energy from start to finish in giving a quote to installing a new oil tank in my home. Steve Hubbard came to my home to assess and give a quote. He was flexible in his quotation. The installation guys were punctual, respectful and did quality work. I received a call several days later to check the system was running fine.I would definitely recommend them.
This review is only for the annual service to my heating system. John came by did his usual work. But he went the extra mile to fix the vent duct from the furnace that the chimney guys did not repair well. Appreciate it.
