One Way Air arrived just a little over an hour after I phoned for service. Their serviceman Chase promptly diagnosed the problem which fortunately was minor. (Thank you Chase... great job!) Should I need HVAC service in the future they will get the call.
A/c issues, paid to fix. Then heat issues, paid to fix. 1 month later. A/c issues again. This company is a joke and scam. Why can't they just be honest. Gave them almost 2 grand already.
Let me start that I am not one to do reviews, like ever. However Kyle & Chase deserve this 100000000%.
I recently bought my house. & when I say recently I mean 3 weeks ago. I don’t think we’ve even been moved in and unpacked for 2 weeks. And my AC goes out. Can you imagine just buying a newly built house (it’s only 3 years old) paying all this money to close and move & then your AC goes out!?
SO. My AC started to go out on July 4th. Ofcourse, a holiday. Smack dab in the middle of the day where it’s the hottest and a day I am on night shift and trying to sleep before a 12 hour shift. Holidays = most businesses are closed. OR where 1- you can’t reach companies or 2- they charge a boat load just to drive out. But that wasn’t the case with One Way Air. I called Kyle and he told me he would have a technician out ASAP and no ridiculous charges. They were finishing a job in Fort Myers and came right over to my home in Cape Coral, less than an hour after I originally called, on a holiday. Met with Chase and he did his diagnostic. We originally thought it was one thing but after chase fixed it, it turned out to be the whole compressor. Warehouse was closed on the holiday but Chase assured me they’d get it first thing the next day (which they did, warehouse opened at 730am) and they came right over to install. Before Chase left, he offered a window units to help with the issue specially since I have a 2 yo child. Kyle and his team come over first thing Tuesday with the new compressor and install. Finally blowing cold air. Sadly throughout Tuesday, it didn’t seem to be cooling properly / as fast as we thought it should. Kyle (owner) personally came out at 10p Tuesday night to address the issue. Needed more refergent which is common if the unit wasn’t charged enough / tried to turn back on earlier in the day during the hottest part of the day. Kyle and Chase come back Wednesday for a follow up to check and make sure everything is running properly. They checked my unit and air handler and my vents/filters.
This team went above and beyond for me and my family, despite the holiday and the craziness of calls after a holiday weekend & me working night shift and needing to try and get some sort of sleep during the day. They were prompt, on time, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Kyle handled my mini break downs & constant text messages and calls (understandably when your AC goes out in south Florida and you have a young child & working night shift) and really took care of my family during this mini crisis. I will recommend this company to everyone. Seriously, thank you guys.
