Essential Air

My minisplit was freezing at the head unit inside and in the lines at the condenser outside. I called and Charlie was able to come the same day (we’re in January, mind you, it’s technically the slow season). He checked the level of refrigerant and showed me it was a pound low. He filled it and then used a gauge to check for leaks outside and inside at the head unit.

Charlie is a great contractor because he’s professional, friendly, competent, and charges reasonable fees. I’m so happy to find a contractor who knows how to deal with customers.

I wouldn’t hesitate to call him again.

Was referred to Charlie to repair some ductwork under our home and service the two outdoor units plus our air handler in the attic. Charlie showed up early and got right to work. Very knowledgable about his industry and intelligent. Repaired our damaged ductwork under the home and cleaned a few drains/drain pans that were getting clogged by insulation and scum. Checked our systems a came back out one more time at no cost to check on the progression of low refrigerant and determine if it was a leak or just never fully charged when installed. We were very pleased with his work and professionalism. Will be working with him again for years to come. Recommend his services.

I was pleasantly surprised when Charlie answered the phone from a total stranger with an Atlanta exchange – then even more pleased when he said he could tend to my rental AC problem later that same day! Charlie was AWESOME. Came out within the hour. Explained what he was checking and doing the entire time. Gave me options on how we can fix the problem and saved this baking girl's family from enduring another hot night of baking!! Cold air never felt more sweet!! Temp has already dropped 6°!!!!
