I signed up with Scott's heating and air with a $189 a year annual maintenance fee. Right before the cold front hit they came out to do one of the 2 scheduled maintenances. Everything seemed fine technician told me there were no issues with the unit. When it got cold we decided to turn on the heat, I quickly realized that the condenser outside wasn't working. I called Scott's heating and air they sent out a technician and the technician advised me that the TXV valve was damaged. This valve cannot be repaired it would need to be replaced or I would just need to get a whole new unit. I was quoted over $8000 for a new unit. Shocked with the news that I received I decided to get A second opinion. Three other companies came out and when they took a look at the TXV valve they determined that the line didn't rupture it was cut. I reached out to Scott's heating and air to make them aware of my discoveries and to my surprise till this day I've I have yet to receive a phone call back. I later come to find out that this company has a bad reputation for there technicians maliciously doing things to units to cause it not to work. But they won't do something that you would immediately notice. So I recommend proceeding with caution when inquiring to do business with Scott's heating and air. I also received quotes from other companies to replace my entire unit and it was half the cost of what Scott's quoted me.

Excellent response and service. After 25 years of being serviced by a competitor I decided to change companies. AC was out and in need of replacement. Within 24 hours we had the sales rep here and new unit going in for a reasonable expense. No upselling, phony money savings, or timeshare presentations- just a new system without being targeted and pressured into pricey newer technology that will also become obsolete and non reparable every system cycle. I’m recommending to everyone looking for a new provider

I called to have someone come out and check my A/C unit and was told that I needed an entire new A/C system costing thousands of dollars. I got a second opinion and the tech unclogged the drain and flushed it out for $150. If you are looking for honesty this is not the place.

Scott’s Heating and Air Conditioning installed our new Bryant unit in 2019. I am very happy with my purchase. Every year I call Michelle and schedule our annual maintenance, and I always request Cliff. Cliff is a great AC Technician. He always explains everything thoroughly, and does a great job. Both Michelle and Cliff are professional, friendly, and they get the job done!! I highly recommend Scott’s Heating and Air Conditioning, it is an excellent company.

Price was right. But customer service was lacking. had a service representative come give me a proposal on a new install December, 7 2022. I wanted to do as much research as possible on the equipment suggested and decided to go with what in my judgment was a better equipment company than suggested. Dan the person who wrote the estimate did not return my calls or text the first 2 weeks of the process, as I had many questions. I waned the system installed by the end of the year hoping to get a good deal. But the lack of communication by Daniel made it that eventually the equipment was no longer available locally and need it to pay extra for shipping, and because of the time constrain I was willing to pay the extra money. I reached out to the general manager Victoria, who at first was very nice and polite, and eventually ended up telling me the company would not service me because in essence it was my fault the job was taking so long, even thought I am convinced that Daniel and his lack of communication at the beginning of the process had a lot to do with it. Not only did they not fulfill their commitment to the proposal since Victoria assured me the equipment was available and was ready to set up a installation date, only to call me back and say that Daniel had agreed with her NOT to service me, because we were "not comparable" whatever that means. these people are not professionals, when I told Victoria of a financial hardship I was having at the time her response was quite rudely and repeatedly "NOT MY PROBLEM". This is NOT the way to treat ANY customer who wants to do business with them. YES, I can be somewhat of a difficult customer as I try to get the best price and ask many questions, BUT, I was never in any way rude or disrespectful to them. I can not say the same about the people who represent this company.

We had 2 very old water cooled A/C units that needed to be replaced. The scope of our project was above that of a typical A/C install, but Scott's made the process easy and painless! After our first encounter with Daniel I knew we were in the right hands. Everyone on the install team was amazing! I would recommend Scott's to anyone!

I did research and saw all the positive reviews. I met with Dan in sales and liked the way I was treated as a customer. The installers, Brad and Justin were very experienced and solved any problem that needed attention. I had both inside and outside units replaced, all the copper and drain pipes. The new programmable thermostat works great. Parker and Nate showed up shortly after to replace two attic ducts. Good work once again. Then Patrick came out to install the blue light in the inside unit. Everyone supported each other, great teamwork.

Scott’s saved the day for us this evening. Our A/C stopped working and it got hot inside quickly, which was more complicated because I’m 36 weeks pregnant. Scott’s was responsive to our call and within two hours someone had come and fixed our unit!

20 out of 10 this place is amazing. The techs are always awesome. Super knowledgeable, friendly, polite and quick. They are prompt about appointments and always show up within the time frame. They always keep me cool and I cannot appreciate you guys enough!

Just not the same company they used to be.
In 2018 they installed a new unit in our downstairs. Great installation and we have had zero issues with the unit.

In 2021 we had them install a new upstairs unit. Installation was problematic taking over two weeks after they said it was complete to finally get it finished. It took multiple calls, voicemails, and emails to get it finished. Finally, after a very strongly worded email they completed the work. A manager did finally call and apologize for the problems offering us a years’ worth of filters. I was hoping this was a onetime issue.
Unfortunately, over the last several months after two major component fails, we have spent over $2000.00 on "warranty” work on this system. The last issue we were charged $500.00 just to diagnose the problem. I was not given an estimate for this diagnostic work but assumed a diagnostic test would be $100 to $150 at most. I was presented the $500.00 bill and told that the high cost was because coolant had to be added to the system to test, even though the coolant leak was found to be because of a faulty coil. I was told the part was under warranty but not the coolant. Makes zero sense.
The final repair was another $900.00 for the coil installation…again this is warranty work. When we turned the AC on that night it began to vibrate so much, we had to turn it off. I called and was told a tech would come out the next day and senior manager would call me to discuss.
No manager called and after another day taken off from work the tech found insulation in the blower from the previous days repair. The tech completed the repair, packed up and left, leaving his ladder in the hallway and attic door open with the attic light on.
Contacted Scott’s letting them aware of the whole experience. No response, and equipment is still at my house.
Like I said, at one point I would have recommended them all day, but now I can’t. Just not the same company.
