Downtown Air and Heat

This is the first review I ever wrote and it’s because it’s the best service I ever experienced from a ac company. I had all the old ducts and vents removed and all new ones installed and some low voltage wiring replaced. Kyle and Austin were the techs they sent out. These guys were so professional and knowledgeable and not to mention so polite. They let me know exactly what they were doing and constantly cleaning up behind themselves. They were here 3 days and always on time in the mornings. Downtown air will always be my go to ac company from now on.

Danny was awesome! He took care of the job and explained thoroughly what had happened!

All three techs were very professional and great to work with. Kyle was very thorough and ensured everything was done well before they left. Austin was very patient with all my requests and did a very good job as well. Melvin provided the proposal and was responsive to all questions. Overall great team to work with and company pricing is very reasonable.

Abel (tech) always has a great attitude and answers every question I have. Very thorough and professional. Love when he’s our tech!

Contacted them to provide standard maintenance on my AC and was able to get an appointment in a couple days. The technician showed up on the early side of my arrival window, contacted me when they were on their way and was efficient with the service. We were pleased with the overall process and will use them again.

Only positive things to say about Downtown Air and Heat from beginning until the end of the job. I called four companies to provide a quote on a new HVAC system for our downtown home built in 1940. Downtown Air was the only company to followup on the quote to see if I had questions and I had many. Shawn spent a 1/2 an hour on the phone helping me compare the wording on the bids to understand if I was compairing apples to apples. Shawn wasn't the lowest bid, but he was in the ballpark and his company pays their employees a fair wage, which is important to me.

On the day of installation, the crew showed up on time. They were prepared, prompt and professional. They did not rush. They had to repair quite a bit of duct work and made sure everything was sealed and working correctly before they left. When working inside, all of the technicians put on those shoe booties and cleaned the area when complete. Care was taken to make sure everything was working properly, before they left for the day.

The next day, a technician dropped off all paperwork, maintenance contract, manufacture warranties/certificates (Downtown Air completes this paperwork for you) and double checked the system. A couple of weeks later the city came out and inspected the HVAC unit and said, everything is working great and they did a nice job with the installation.

I highly recommend Downtown Air and Heat.

I have used Downtown Air and Heat for years...just recently had to have a system replacement. Everyone on their team was so helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. Kyle and Austin did a great job on the installation, tried to recommend areas for improvement during the process, and I just felt very well taken care of, during what could be a very stressful experience.

Melvin was courteous respectful helpful and thorough. Highly recommend using this company.

Austin and Kyle did a great job with the installation. It turned into a real collaborative process since I had an older home. They even went the extra mile to ensure that my biggest concern, dehumidification, was address to the greatest extent possible given what I could afford. Thank you!

My home is older and had a duct system that was in terrible condition. Downtown Air and Heat came over and sketched out my attic space, planned the new system and had the whole job complete in 2 days. Kyle and Austin did a great job start to finish. They showed up on time, kept me informed of their progress throughout the day, and cleaned up everything when they were finished each day.
