One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating of West Palm Beach

I never post bad reviews, but I am so angry that One Hour Air took advantage of us. Our AC unit stopped working (from a power surge) just before Hurricane Irma and since we didn't want to be without AC for the hurricane, we didn't do any research on AC units and just trusted this company for speed's sake. We paid them for a new AC unit that they promised would be installed before the hurricane. Then they called and said they couldn't get it in on time, so we went for days without AC while we were stuck inside. We were understanding with that since we really didn't know if it was their fault, or just bad luck with the hurricane approaching, but I wish they wouldn't have promised me and accepted my money when I could have gone with another company who could have gotten it installed faster. But what I'm really angry at is the fact that they told me that I would be better off getting rid of my Carrier AC unit instead of fixing it, and I have since found out that Carrier is one of the best brands and should last much longer than what we had it... it would have been much easier and cheaper to just fix it, but they wanted to sell me a new one. Then, they charged me $4000 for a Goodman AC unit after convincing me that it was a better brand than Carrier... I've since found out that is opposite from the truth and Goodman is one of the worst brands. I have been told that I probably overpaid them by at least $1000 and this unit will never work as well as my previous Carrier unit. Yes, I should have done my research on AC units but I believe that a company should be honest and this company is definitely not honest. If you are going to use them, do your research and do not trust what they tell you. I will NOT be using them in the future and I will never recommend them to anybody.

We were having some issues with the line properly draining. We paid them 1,400 and were promised the problem would be fixed in March. In July we have drainage issues again. The technician comes out and tells me their is nothing wrong with our drain line we need all new duct work. The air-conditioning stops working that night so my husband shop vacs the drain line and guess what.... it was clogged. We call them back and the same employee shows up and LIES right in front of me and tells my husband I never mentioned anything about the drain line or having to shop Vac the line. Do NOT trust this company they lie!!

I'm having issues with my A/C and called. Dorvil came out to the house and was very professional. He followed CDC guidelines and even wore covers for his shoes. The really important part is that he knew what he was doing. A/C was diagnosed and is now working again. Thanks for your help.

I just received an estimate from one hour air conditioning and the process went very well. They were very responsive to do an inspection and gave me several good options and advise. I liked their professionalism and Friendly non-aggressive approach.

The technician and overall company are great. Love the text and email message follow ups. The technician called ahead and was very professional. Explained everything in detail and told me about anything to keep in mind for future as well.

Zack arrived as promised to perform AC repair on Sunday evening. He pointed out the systemic cause of the problem and serviced the unit in a timely, professional manner. My desperate request for service resulted in a comfortable sleep for 6 adults and 3 children aged 4, 1, and 5 months.

We called out one hour air conditioning to our house in Wellington to fix our AC system yesterday evening. The service guy did a great job. I was very greatful for the late evening repair, I can't sleep without AC! We signed up for their protection plan so next time we won't have to pay for the repair... Great deal!

The technician showed up quickly and was knowledgeable however, the price was terrible. I find out after the job is done that a capacitor is around $50 depending on the model. We were charged $389 to get one swapped out. You live and you learn but this seems outrageous, i just didn’t know and my family was miserable so i wanted it fixed asap.
