Both D.L. and Brahim are a pleasure to work with! They promptly serviced my HVAC system and gave me a simple overview of the system. They were super friendly and I would definitely recommend using them for your HVAC system needs.
We went thru our electric company to replace our 2 hvac systems and chose Clark's since they were on the preferred contractors list that meant they would do the installation while my electric company was facilitating the loan to pay for it. The installation and initial work was amazing. Then a couple days after install, the owners, Melissa & Robert Clark started harrassing me about payment.
Since we didn't have more issues, we decided to renew our maintenance contract with them when they called about it.
1st – They sent a brand new tech (1st time in the field). Their scheduled arrival time was 1-3pm – he arrived after 3:30pm, blocked my entire driveway entrance that is 3 cars wide with his van parked sideways so I wasn’t able to get into it when I got home and he didn’t leave until after 6pm.
2nd - he couldn’t find our 2nd inside unit/air handler even though it was right next to 1st unit in the attic.
3rd - we were quoted $149 and he told us we had to pay $248 since he serviced both units. He said that $149 is only for 1 unit. The person we renewed with on the phone knew we had 2 units since they installed them and have maintained them since 2019 and only quoted us for 1.
4th - he put the wrong size filter in one of our units, so when we talked to Robert (who is a jerk btw) and advised him of this error, he told us he could send another tech to replace it and they would charge us $15. This is the 2nd time they have put the wrong size filter in one of our air handlers.
5th - I called 6/23/21 to let them know we will no longer be doing business with them. I advised that if Robert behaved more like their amazing tech, Dwight, we would have continued doing business with them. Due to the unpleasantness we have experienced from the owner, Robert, we don't want to support them.
6th - I received an email from them this morning addressed to me in the following way, "Hello THEY FIRED CLARKS - NO WARRANTY LEFT ON EQUIP, WRITE A REVIEW" this is unprofessional.
Brahim returned to complete the service. Great job and excellent person. Thanks They came to service the A/C. Work was completed for the day but a return trip is required due to lower temperatures.
Outstanding service provided by Clark's Heating & Air and service tech Dylan. Dylan worked tirelessly to see that the system was up and running correctly, while answering my questions( I had many) and explaining each step of the process being done, making sure I understood completely. Dylan is very a courteous, respectful, honest, knowledgeable and dedicated individual. And always on time! Clark's is a great company with great employees that are dedicated to making customers happy when choosing their services. Professional, efficient, honest, knowledgable and dedicated. Excellent teamwork! My experiences have always been good and I highly recommend Clark's.
This is my first time using Clark's Heating and Air and I was very impressed with the honesty of the service technician. I recently purchased a 45 year old house. The HAVC system is rather old. I wanted a check up of my system to make sure everything is still in good working condition. Good news that my system works just fine but it is not overly energy efficient. The technician said if it not broke don't fix it suggestion. I agreed. He didn't try to sell me anything I do not need. Clark's Heating and Air will be back in the Spring to tune up my A/C. I trust these folks. I am happy that they are a local business in case I do need a major replacement. Thank you!!!
I went to Clark's Heating and Air because of the great reviews. They charged me $119 just to show up at my house, then diagnosed an A/C drain issue which took a 16" piece of PVC and a union to fix($13). They said they drain all the water out of my full drain pan and charged me an additional $180 for about 15 minutes worth of work total. So I went up in the attic to check everything and all the water was still in the drain pan so I had to shop vacuum out of the pan about 5 gallons of water. So I decided to give management a call to disuss the charges and they said they would refund $10. Everyone keep in mind that most places may charge a service fee to come check your issue and if you don't let them do the work you pay the full service charge and if they do the work then it is either eliminated or reduced, not Clark's!!!!!!!
Had issue with water in pan. Called Clark’s to get assistance. They showed up on time and addressed issue. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Appreciate the help to get issue addressed.
