The folks at Weldon Heating and Air were extremely responsive and efficient in their assessment and work when the AC in our home shut off unexpectedly. They opened up the evaporator coil and check for proper draining of the system. Our unit in the attic was not level (installed by another company), which resulted in the unit leaking water down and into the ceiling from the attic. They were able to level the unit and extended the secondary pan float switch so it could sit in the lowest part of the pan in order to function properly. They also went into the crawl space to check drainage and provided recommendations for better drainage, along with quotes. Great professional service!

Matt is great. He gives you a thorough explanation of the issue and a list of options to resolve the problem. Most companies just try to sell you a new HVAC system.

This was a Father’s Day gift for my husband (not crawling under our house to change the filter anymore!) I Weldon through a search online and they had high reviews. They were so personable, timely with responses, and we have just had our first regular maintenance service. They reached out to get it scheduled, were on time, and very professional. I called Weldon because I was in trouble: a big name repair company had previously looked at my 2014 unit which failed to cool, and “big name” recommended a 6k new unit or a $1600 repair attempt without even looking at what I had or taking a single measurement : “big name” tech had me turn the unit on and off once, and gave a vague diagnosis with no reasoning or measurements behind it. The only training that “big name” representative (company begins with E) seemed to have was sales: he spoke only to upsell me on their products, which seem to be new units and maintenance plans. He did not seem to know how to fix things, only sell.

In addition, “big name” didn’t communicate with me (giving me no specific time so I waited around all day, and then telling me that the tech was at the location after he’d already left) and I had to reschedule and waste another day waiting around.

Weldon was totally different ! They scheduled same day, gave me a specific 2 hour window and advance notice, communicated clearly, showed up exactly when they said, diagnosed my unit, explained to me in detail how it worked, took multiple diagnostic measurements which the tech explained to me so I fully understood, gave me an estimate and successfully repaired my unit on the spot: for $600. The tech, Eric, was young but he knew machines like a grizzled old veteran. He offered me valuable education so I could make an informed decision.

Definitely money well spent and I highly recommend this company.

Called several big name companies to replace my water heater and the price was very expensive. I asked a neighbor and they recommended Weldon. I called and not only were their prices much better but they were able to install the next day. I like that Chip, Paul and Eric are local people and the business is in tucker as well. They made sure I was happy with the install and were very professional and clean throughout the process. Great company and just good people.
