From the first phone call to schedule the appointment to the technician Christian arriving it had been a professional, courteous, and efficient experience. Confirmation from the staff the day before, text notifying on the way and phone call from the technician on day of helped me prepare for their on time arrival. Thank you to the entire team.
Responsive, easy scheduling process. Excellent communication ahead of the visit, arrived on time, educated me about the process, did not try to push unnecessary add-ons but shared information and recommendations if optional features that could be enhanced. Great team, would highly recommend!

I never felt like I was being pushed in one direction or another, just provided honest facts about our system and I feel the tech proactively went out of his way to give my wife and I space to make decisions without judgement. We decided to get everything fixed and they came in slightly under their initial quote.

I've lived in my apartment for 5 years and have had to have the AC compressor fully replaced twice. The second one, which they installed less than two years ago, is now toast. Rather than diagnosing the underlying issue, I was told that my compressor died due to normal wear and tear and "lack of maintenance" after less than 2 years and I'd have to buy a new one entirely. Feels like a lot of upselling and not a lot of diagnosing of the actual issue. Even if it were a maintenance issue (they didn't actually define the issue and we do maintain the system so who knows), no one should need to purchase three new compressors in 5 years. Definitely get a second opinion if they try to sell you $6k in new parts in two years.
Edited to add: I do indeed have the receipt from when this company installed the compressor less than two years ago.
This was a great experience from the time I filled out the contact us form until the time the technician left. They were quick to respond and answer my questions. The tech that came explained everything so thoroughly and had a ton of patience (I had a lot of questions!). I highly recommend them!
Alan Garcia was excellent. We needed a new thermostat and he installed it very efficiently. Another well known company had struggled for hours and failed to do the installation, saying it was complicate. It was an Ecobee thermostat for a Carrier Infinity system.
Alan was fantastic, courteous, professional, and provided detailed/helpful explanations about the annual maintance performed. I will definitely use Chicago HVAC again, and request Alan!!!
