Central Air Heating and Cooling

You won't find a more honest and fair company in the heating and cooling business. They've repaired both our AC and Furnace now and we couldn't be happier. They honestly felt it was more urgent to get us back up and running than we did and are one of the few companies that I can genuinely say make us feel like they value our business. We've dealt with the big names in town and some of the smaller folks too so believe me when I say Central Air Heating and Cooling is THE BEST around.

Austin and Jesse were great. They came out an hr after I called. Did not stop until they found the source of the problem and had my heat working. Very knowledgeable and professional. They will be my new heating and cooling guys. Love them!!

I had Sheets fix a leaky bathroom sink and during the process, we discovered I needed a new main shut off valve as well. From start to finish Sheets was amazing. They sent a text with a picture of the plumber who was coming, which is a wonderful safety feature. The plumber, Barney, took the time to explain what was wrong and how he fixed it. He also explained how to do maintenance on my water heater. The man from the city water department even complimented the company when he turned the water back on.

Jesse was very professional and able to solve our air condition issues and make recommendations on how to make sure we reduce the changes of future problems – we were so impressed with his integrity we ask about setting up annual service for both the furnace and air conditioner. Central Air Heating and Cooling is a newer company, which I was a bit nervous about at first, but I figured every company has to start somewhere. I am extremely happy that we ended up choosing them.

It started with our 30 yo furnace's exhaust blower breaking in the middle of the night. The next day, we had two repairmen come out. The other guy came out and looked at it for 15 minutes, then said we needed a new furnace. Austin from Central Air spent about an hour at our house the first time and said we needed a few new parts to get it running. He got the parts and installed them, and determined there were cracks in the heat exchanger and we actually would need a new system. I was worried about being out $550 from the attempted repair, but ye returned the parts and didn't charge us a thing!

I then spent a couple of weeks researching companies in Fort Wayne, got 5 different quotes, and ultimately ended up going with Austin. With HVAC, I don't think one big brand is vastly superior to another, so it all comes down to finding a good and trusted contractor that will do a proper installation. I choose Austin and Central Air Heating and Cooling because his price was competitive and our experience with him on the attempted repair and new system quote went really well.

All I can say is I am extremely happy with my decision. I took a chance with a new company, hey every company has to start somewhere, and I am so glad I did. H said it would take two days to install, but he actually ended up spending 3 days out to ensure it was done properly. I'm glad he took the time to do it right versus rushing to try and get another job in. He was extremely professional and did a fantastic install job, overcoming any unexpected issues without complaint or compromise.

I highly recommend Austin and Brian at Central Air Heating and Cooling. I will be calling them for any future HVAC needs, and I urge you to do the same.

From the information, quote, scheduling and financing with Brian, to the installation and how-to's with Austin, Central Air is top-notch.
These guys are phenomenal! They know what it takes to get the job done RIGHT and they do it. Some of the original HVAC installation wasn't quite right, so they fixed it when installing my new system. Their quote was very competitive and ended up being the perfect choice. Brian didn't try to "sell me" on a system. He gave me info and told me how his team does installation. I was sold on Central Air because their price wasn't inflated and neither was their ego! They respond quickly to emails, calls, etc. I'll be glad to be working with Central Air for the life of my new HVAC system. Thanks, guys!!! I'll be singing your praises everywhere!

We got a new system installed in July after ours quit working when it was 90+ degrees. Picture coming home from a month long road trip and your thermostat reads 100 degrees.... not fun. Within 24 hours Austin and Jesse took such great care of us, they were so efficient AND incredibly professional! That's all you can ask for! I wouldn't trust anyone else!

The company did a real good job of not only getting me set up, but getting me a quote, scheduling install and every other step of the process from start to finish. Good cost and very professional. Would and will strongly recommend.
