I called Armor Air to clear out my washer drain line on the recommendation of another plumber who couldn’t do the job. Anton Fentress showed up the next day, on-time and with a great attitude. He’s super friendly. He assessed the situation, explained what was happening, and quickly cleared the clog. He also recommended some preventative maintenance to help keep it clear longer. He was knowledgeable, honest and kind. I’m glad I found Armor Air and will certainly recommend them to others.
The very first person who came here to "try" to install the HALO unit didn't do a thing right. It wasn't even "connected"! When he left, we noticed the silver electrical tape was coming apart & the unit was FALLING OUT of our furnace! I called Christian later that day & he said "It'll still work. Just put some duct tape around it". WOW! SERIOUSLY?! Christian is an extremely kind, professional & patient person... I just later found out that he hadn't installed but a couple of these HALO units. I couldn't understand why they sent him here when Armor Air knew I wanted HALO installed. 😕
After I requested a knowledgeable worker over, you sent an older (thank GOD) gentleman named Tim (with age comes experience!). Tim took one look & looked really shocked. He said one major thing was forgotten in this "installation" & then upon further inspection, he actually said "none of this was done correctly". Do you remember who did this? So anyways, he took about 20-30 minutes to do the job right. I thought maybe some dust in our house was making me have severe allergies (b/c this is the FIRST TIME I've EVER had a single allergy problem... but I started getting a runny nose, sneezing, really raspy voice which was the WORST, eyes constantly watering, etc). Tim said in about 3 weeks, I should notice my allergies go away (if our air quality was indeed the cause). Well, almost 3 weeks to the day, every single allergy went completely away. BUT THEN, a different employee came over the summer for a "check-up" & literally that evening, every single allergy came back. My Mother started to feel her allergy symptoms again too. I have since tried calling so he could come back here, but all to no avail.
UPDATE: I was able to get ahold of Armor Air & requested Tim ONLY. He was amazing, yet again, as he's been doing this for years (years usually turn practice into near perfection). Within minutes, he was able to inform me that the entire HALO unit was bad. It literally "broke" within a few months of getting it (when it should last years & years lol). He had to order a new unit last week (day before Thanksgiving) & will be installing it this week.
I needed routine maintenance done. Christian was more than exceptional. He was patient in explaining the upgrades I need with my HVAC system and the video of the work he performed was great! It helped me truly understand the work he was doing. Finding good customer service and quality work is hard. But, great service and quality is rare. I’m glad I happened to find Christian! I will refer him to anyone I know that needs service.
We called Armor Air out because of burst heating pipes in the attic. They did a nice job of replacing the burst pipes, but I was disappointed that the heat still does not work after their repair, and getting the remaining problem(s) fixed is not included in the price. I expected that "getting it working again" would be part of the job.
Mitchell went above and beyond when cleaning out our vents. So thankful we found Armor Air — we will be return customers and tell all our friends. We felt taken care of and Mitchell was so careful to not spread the dust.
Terry came to do a full house plumbing inspection. He was polite and courteous. He was able to answer all my questions and gave recommendations without pressure. Five stars!
