Saffer Plumbing, Heating & Electrical

First off, I was impressed and so thankful that someone from Saffer was able to come out so quickly to look at my water heater. Literally maybe 30 minutes after I called! The on-call plumber, Josh Gallano, went above and beyond. He gave me several possible reasons for the recurring issue (pilot keeps going out and have to manually light), and although Saffer was not able to fix the problem right now, as the cause is as of now unknown, Josh gave a thorough explanation of what was going on and what might be causing it. Josh was professional, personable, and beyond helpful. He even got me to purchase a service agreement; he did a great job of explaining the benefits, and it seemed like a no-brainer! Please pass along my thanks and appreciation to Josh. He was awesome and I would trust him with any plumbing issue that should arise. Thank you, Saffer! You turned a dismayed and anxious Friday evening (upon discovering the problem) into one of relief and thankfulness!

PS. I am a long-time customer of Saffer. I have used them for various plumbing needs (including replacing water pipes), installing my water heater, and even doing electrical work. So I'm not just commending them for water heater service - they offer a variety of services and are an all-around quality and reliable company!

Brook and Bradley did a great job with replacing my toilet. They took the time to make sure the job was done right, even if it wasn't the original plan. They were very knowledgeable and did a great job of outlining my options for moving forward. (In other news, they had great taste in music and were very patient with my nosy dog!)

Very knowledgeable and customer service oriented, I've been using Saffer for years now and as a newer homeowner they have really given me piece of mind knowing all my plumbing has been inspected and taken care of. Project installs are well planned and organized, I know when plumbers will arrive and about how long the job will take. I definitely recommend Saffer for your plumbing needs.

Christian came to visit and repair our clogged sink. We called and they were very responsive coming same day. They called ahead of time and were on time. Upon arrival were very friendly and polite. They were incredibly efficient and we were beyond impressed with their level of professionalism and skill! We have used them before, and this is why we will continue to come back! I had Saffer fix a toilet issue and problem solve gurgling from my pipes. Josh was very professional, quick, and able to provide info as to what was happening. I do think their pricing is above average, but in return, you get high-end quality work and technicians very experienced with Baltimore row homes like mine that are 125+ years old. That's definitely a comfort for me. They are someone I would trust for emergency work, and my only critique would be to get a second quote before non-emergencies to double check on price. But this is a very good company and absolutely worth your consideration.

This was my first experience with Saffer Plumbing and I'm delighted! Chris and Brook did an excellent job. I especially appreciated that Chris explained everything to me very clearly. I had a master bedroom toilet that hadn't flushed properly for a few months, then it started running constantly. Chris explain what caused these problems and gave me estimates for both a repair and a replacement. I decided on the replacement. Christ arrived at 7:30 am, Brook a bit later with the new toilet. The were finished and out the door a few minutes after 10 am. I recommend Saffer very highly.

I use Saffer for electric and plumbing. All of their staff are professional, incredibly helpful, and are clear experts. They do the best work! Today, Jeremiah (electrician) installed a new 240v outlet. The appliance guys made issues with it, and Jeremiah came back the same day to fix everything and installed the appliance. Brent (plumber) did an excellent job tying off our gas line this week. They prioritize you and take good care of you! They never talk down to us and answer all our questions with clarity and kindness.

The technicians that came to my house, Walt and Eric, were very friendly and professional. They asked me what I needed and then proceeded to systematically investigate each issue to identify the problem and advise on the solution. They worked very well together did not get in each others way. Instead, they were fast and efficient and seemed genuinely focused on resolving the electrical problems I was having and were not looking for opportunities to create a big bill, which many service companies do.
I will definitely reach out to Saffer again if/when I have another electrical or plumbing issue that I can't resolve on my own.

Also, last year I did a renovation on my house. Jerry, Jack and Walt did great work and were more than awesome. Saffer were the only reliable people in the building trade that we worked with.

Tony an Nick were very professional and obviously very good at their jobs. We have a very old house and have been using Saffer for approx. 10 years now and they have not let us down yet! Thanks for fixing everything. Appreciate the timely response and respecting the property.
