    I noticed that I didn't have heat this morning and called the gas company, they couldn't help me. I called Chaves Heating and they were able to come to my house in 15-20 minutes to repair my very old heating system! So grateful they were able to get it fixed so quickly. Thank you!

    Extremely poor customer service. Also unreasonable charge for services if they assume (or realize) that you do not understand how simple (or not) their work is. We have 3 Aprilaire full house humidifiers, always serviced by Chaves. Last year they seemed to not be working properly. When we finally had them serviced, the Chaves technician stated that a float assembly is missing in each, and that he did not have the part so "they will need to come back". Nobody did. After several calls they told me that it will cost me an additional $350 for the part and placement (beside the cost of annual service). I looked it up and found the part to be $12.20 on Amazon. Purchased 3, opened the cover (just pull it out) and simply put the float on its chamber, total of 3 minutes of work.

    The company seems to have a good number of customers and although we had been a customer for several years a service appointment would not be available for several months. Of course no Saturdays or Sundays, so if you and your spouse will also have to leave in the morning to work, then forget an AC or heating service. Having known well in advance that we have a Friday appointment, my wife took the day off to be present for the arrival of these "important" individuals. After all we had to wait several months for them to come. Day before the appointment, nevertheless, they call and say "we have to cancel your appointment because we have a sick call". I explained our situation and how difficult it has been for us to accommodate their schedule, but there was no interest to provide a reasonable customer service ... simply "we will not come".

    Whereas the quality of service is important, treating your customers respectfully and professionally is even more. Your technicians probably know what they are doing, but there is no question in my mind that you do not value or respect your customers. I am a surgeon and I do not think my job is any less important than yours, but treating every patient with respect and utmost professionalism is as important to me and my colleagues as the quality of our job. I hope you change your arrogant attitude and pay better attention to your customers needs and schedules.

They simply know what they are doing, they follow up, and their service personnel, from the person answering the phone, to the technician , dont just talk a good game, they DO it.     Chavez Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. sent one of their service techs, Matt, to check and clean our furnace. Matt was very professional, thorough, and extremely helpful answering our questions and caring for our furnace. He gave us a complete report, verbally and written when he was finished. You don't see this kind of customer service anymore. Matt is truly an asset to the company. Thank you.

    I wish I had the same quick response time I have read from other reviewers on multiple sites. I have been waiting five days now on a call for a burst pipe as Chaves is the warranty service provider for my AC unit. The first day they said they would not be able to make it that day but could the next day. I called at 415 the next afternoon to see if they were still coming, but was told, "sorry, we won't be able to make it today. We will schedule you for Monday." I can understand being busy during the hot months and not being able to make it to some of your customers, but telling them you would make it on a day, and then never letting them know you won't be able to is unacceptable. I called another company and he immediately sent someone out to repair the pipe. I decided to keep my appointment just to get a seasonal tune up but Chaves is still a no-show. Every time I call I get, "oh you're on the list, as soon as a technician is available, you will get a 30 minute notification." Where am I on this list? Does this company not have the ability to forecast a work schedule with any sense of timeframe? If I am number 200 on this list, they should tell me up front that I will be waiting a few days instead of telling me they'll call me soon.

    Many people in my neighbor hood recommended Chaves HVAC. I am very happy we decide to have Chaves to install our ductless AC system in Jul, 2019. The owner, Joe's estimation is accurate. Their service was quick, professional, and efficient. Highly recommend.
