From the initial site eval and quote, through the heat loan process, the installation, and final inspection they were there to guide me through the process. In addition to their price and warranty being the best I found, everyone I dealt with - sales, business office, the installers themselves - was pleasant, knowledgeable, and conscientious. Very pleased!

Modern Energy recently did a Mitsubishi heat pump/cooling system install in our house. I am very impressed with the professionalism this company has. First met Ryan who looked over house for project and provided quote quickly, showed up on time and asked about our needs. The installation crew Dave Wiita and Brandon who explained what they were going to do and how and answered all my questions as project moved forward. I was also impressed seeing these techs using torque wrenches to tighten fittings to spec up on a 24 foot ladder. Being a retired vocational teacher I can appreciate this attention to detail. The electricians Bob and Jeremy gave us options on how to run the required wiring, the conduit was laid out straight, boxes level and plumb all wiring properly secured and neat. How to use the system was explained by Dave and I was told if I had any further questions just call. I highly recommend Modern Energy if you are thinking about installing mini split system in your home.

From initial contact to job completion, Modern Energy personnel were all professional, courteous, and thorough. The salesperson was always responsive; the business manager was very knowledgeable and helpful at every step, especially with Mass Save application; the installers were hard-working, respectful, and cleaned up every day. This company took care of everything, including necessary insulation work and electrical requirements, all on schedule. Impressive, quality company.

ModernEnergy (Chris & crew) was the contractor that MassSave sent to my house after an energy audit by ClearResults (Greg). They did an excellent job. Professional, clean, and efficient. In and out in no time. Explained exactly what they were doing, the exact same list as specified by ClearResults and after all was said and done, the exact same price. They did about $2,000 worth of work, including vents & insulation in the entire attic. My cost was less than $450. Outstanding! This is a wonderful program and I hope others update their homes for an unbelievable price by two great contractors.

Modern Energy team was very professional, courteous and thorough. I have a very interesting house layout and it required creative design work. Through some design iterations they made it work so the sightlines for the mini splits were minimal - not making their installation highly noticeable. We had an issue once finalized and they jumped all over it - included the owner, Jeff, who was very supportive and engaged. Would highly recommend them.

We recently had some mini split heat pumps put in. Jeff came out & gave us an estimate. He was very knowledgeable & professional. We were told the job would take a week & it did. The workers that came to do the installing were courteous & friendly. I felt comfortable having them work in my home. Especially during these crazy times. The units work amazing. I am a maintenance supervisor for a luxury apartment complex in Marlborough. Modern Energy came to my property to assess what could be done for saving money. My property has 364 apartments. We had all new lights installed in every building. Additionally we received thermostats, showerheads, aerators, LED porch lights and had the attics insulated and sealed.
