    Andrew from Done heating and cooling just came out to help fix the AC unit on my bar building. I wouldn't of been able to do service this weekend without them. I really appreciate them coming out a couple hours after I called and fixing the problem. thankfully it wasn't too big of a deal and they had the parts on hand to make the repair. I will definitely be calling them for all my emergency needs in the future. highly recommend five stars.

    We had a great experience with Done Heating & Cooling. I called early on a Saturday and Frank arrived in less than 45 minutes. He diagnosed our furnace problem, found the necessary part, and fixed it all the same morning. My wife and I were more than happy with the service. Thanks again Frank!

    Frankie was very professional and explained everything. He was quick and efficient. My AC is very old and outdated. He explained why, at this point, it was better to do nothing and wait for it to die. The furnace was just fine.

    I called yesterday to inquire if they installed mini splits but couldn't remember what it was called suddenly. I instead explained what type of unit i was looking for. The guy confidentally told me he knew what I wanted, an air handler and gave me a really high price I knew was not correct. When I persisted saying he was confused on what i was talking about he commented saying I know what you want. My second attempt at describing he said why are you calling me if you don't know what its called you want central air correct? When I said no he just said well we only do that and ended the call. This man was so incredibly demeaning and disrepectful.

    TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

    Frank came to our house for AC repair. He worked around my work schedule because I didn’t get out of work until 6pm. This was great and originally I was very pleased with his customer service.

    Sadly, that didn’t last long. He began cleaning my outdoor unit and when he was finished he charged me $150 for the service. I had already paid a $150 service fee. So he performed the cleaning without prefacing that there would be an additional charge or how much. When I questioned this he became hostile and kept saying “if money is an issue it’s free”. If you look at the pictures, he put our system back together sloppily and somehow managed to blame it on the person that put it together before him. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY.

    Next issue is that he said I was 4 pounds short of Freon ($98/pound). When I asked about a potential leak in the system he got flustered again and said that would cost $1200 to find the leak. I had another service come out and say we were only 1.5 pounds low on Freon!

    I let him know that I needed to talk to my partner about the issue before paying and he was angry, told me the service was free, said merry Christmas, and got in his van and left.

    I would NEVER recommend his services to anyone.

    Christmas Day we woke up to a broken motor in our heating unit. It’s 18 F and snowing out, we were worried no one would be able to even inspect our heater until Tuesday (Christmas Day being on a Sunday) Lucky for us Frank was able to inspect and fix our fan motor before Christmas dinner that day. Explained all the costs beforehand and did not give any expectations he couldn’t promise. While he was putting the unit back together, he cleaned a sensor that becomes a common problem often and told me some preventative actions I can take to further the life of our furnace. Other companies have tried to con us into replacing our furnace, but Frank was honest and helpful; helping me understand how our unit works and what to expect in the future. We can’t thank you enough for this Christmas miracle and will use this service for any HVAC needs in the future. Frank above and beyond my expectations for a breakdown at the worst possible time, thank you!

    I called and within 35min they were here. The technician found the problem and repaired . I give a 5 star rating and I will use them again. My ac is now working fine.

    Most horrible service. Frank who acted as the receptionist and also as the service person, an immigrant from Greece, was as rude as they come. The rudeness was not just part of his nature but also to hide his incompetence. He acted arrogant when telling that the service charge of 150 dollars to diagnose cannot be applied to the repairs. He claimed the furnace was at least 15 years old and required a new circuit board and it will cost $ 592 besides the 150 dollars which he had already charged my credit card before even starting. When I told him that the furnace was just 4 years old, how did he diagnose that the circuit board was defective and can he assure there will be no further problems and charges if the circuit board is replaced, he couldn't be more hostile telling me to then go to the company which installed the furnace for it must be under warranty and if after replacing the circuit board they find additional problems they will charge more.
    After telling him to pocket the 150 dollars and get lost I called another Heating and Cooling company and they repaired the furnace for 200 dollars. The 100 dollar service call was applied towards the repair. They came all the way from Taylor and charged just 100 dollars for service call, which they applied towards the repairs, while Done Heating and Cooling was a couple of miles from the house. Their technician told me the defect was not in the circuit board but in in incorrectly diagnosing the problem so they could rip me off. The owner replies that they stand by their diagnosis. If another company can replace a part for 100 dollars what the Done Heating and Cooling wanted to do for 592 through replacing the circuit board, yes there is a problem in the diagnostic abilities of Done Heating and Cooling.

    I woke up on a Sunday morning to a furnace that stopped working. It was 22 degrees that morning! I called Done Heating & Cooling, right at 8am and Frank answered the phone immediately. He was friendly, asked a few questions and said he would be at my house in 1 hour. Frank came from Warren all the way to Clay, MI in about 45 minutes. He was professional, efficient, and even wore shoe covers to protect my hardwoood floors! He is super smart, friendly, and a fast worker. He diagnosed the problem and repaired my furnace within a couple hours! I was fascinated that I actually received service on a Sunday and the technician arrived within 1 hour! I was 100% satified with the honest solutions he offered, his pricing, and his quickness in restoring heat to my home. He even gave me a follow up call 3 hours later to check on the status of my furnace! Outstanding company! Hands down, the best in the tri-county area. Rest-assured that all your heating and air conditioning problems will be solved. IT'S DONE! Done right by Done Heating & Cooling!

    I've had good experiences with Done. The previous company I worked with tried to get me to purchase a new A/C even though it was working fine, just because it uses Freon. So far I've had Done do maintenance on my A/C and Furnace and they have not tried to sell me any unnecessary parts/services. I trust them to give good recommendations based on what will cost me the least, not make them the most money in the short term. I will keep calling them for any troubles/future maintenance.
