Could not have gone smoother - My blower motor went out on my old system which was 20+ years old. A tech from another company came out and told me that my heat exchange was cracked. I got 5 different quotes and Heating and Cooling Two had the best balance of top quality equipment and price. A top of the line furnace with an AC that is more than adequate for the MN summers. I had quotes for the same equipment that was thousands more. Mike was a pleasure to work with throughout the sales process. The install techs did a really good job, they were on time and very neat and answered all of my questions. The quote was exactly what I needed to pay, no last minute changes or additions. I was sent their way by a neighbor that had used them in the past and, so far, I could not be happier. I definitely recommend them for your HVAC needs.

We have been clients of Heating & Cooling, Two for over twenty years. They have helped us with repairing and replacing pre-existing furnace, air conditioning, and water heater appliances. They added zoning and an air exchanger to our 55 year old home and installed venting for a kitchen exhaust fan. Their team including Mike, Jared, and Brian have always been prompt, polite, knowledgeable and helpful. They never push products or services we don’t need.

If you are looking for a company that is more worried about the bottom line than repeat business, call Heating and Cooling in Maple Grove, MN! I cannot recommend this company and would advise others to stay away. I had an issue with a Nest thermostat that had been installed for about 9 months when it stopped receiving power (this company did NOT complete initial install). A tech came out and diagnosed that the UV system hooked up to our furnace was robbing too much power so the thermostat could not properly charge. $300 later, the tech had disconnected a very expensive UV system and said we were ready to go. This did not fix the issue and the thermostat continued to not work. I called the company again asking someone to come out and take a look due to the fact that the initial diagnosis was incorrect. They sent a different tech that spent 30 minutes looking at the system, and in the end told me that my thermostat must have been faulty. He then left and I received another bill for $110! OUTRAGEOUS! Nest sent a replacement thermostat which did the exact same thing. I called Heating and Cooling and was told by shop manager Gina that they pay their techs $100 an hour, and that we as the customer's signed off on the initial work of removing the UV system, so we are responsible that the recommended repair didn't work. She was not rude, but was completely unwavering on the fact that their initial service call was inadequate. She never even offered to have the tech hook the UV system back up! After consulting with another company, I was advised to run a common wire to my Nest. I did the wiring myself, but had Heating and Cooling come out to hook up the wiring (10 minutes in and out of my home). They did not bill for this job, however I ended up paying over $400 for a job that ultimately took them 10 minutes to complete. I WILL NOT USE AGAIN, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND. If you are looking for a company that is more worried about the bottom line than repeat business, call Heating and cooling in Maple Grove, MN! If you want real customer service, call anyone else.
