Phil was awesome to work with! We had an air exchanger that was not working but needed to be repaired before moving out of our home. Initially I went to a different company for help but they ended up diagnosing the problem incorrectly and their quote to repair the exchanger was 4x the price it should have been. I called Holmin to get a second opinion and he was quick to respond, did a bunch of research on finding parts for my exchanger, and made time during his busy season to help us out in a super timely manner. In the end he fixed our exchanger for a very fair price and beat our deadline for closing on the house by a few weeks. I will recommend Holmin to anyone who has HVAC needs in the future!

We had our regular company out to do our A/C tune up. Were told that 2 parts were broken and should be replaced. They informed that it would just be best to replace the whole A/C unit. Our quotes from them for parts were very high along with the cost of a new A/C when we weren’t expecting it. Called Holmin for a second opinion and was able to get parts at a very reasonable price. He even came out to make sure that the parts actually needed to be replaced and talked through the options with my husband. He never tried to sell us a new A/C or take advantage of us. He was very honest and reliable. The fix was quick and he kept us updated through the process of ordering parts and scheduling. We will definitely be using him again and would recommend him to everyone.

I highly recommend Holmin Heating and Cooling. I called Holmin Heating and Cooling to get a second opinion on why our AC wasn’t working. Phil returned my call quickly was able to make it to my house same day, even though it was late afternoon when I first spoke with him. He was able to figure out the problem and repair in about 30 minutes. As far as cost - it was 1/10th the price of what the other company was going to charge!

We called at 7:30 in the morning about our furnace leaking Carbon Monoxide. Phil answered immediately and within the hour was at our house to diagnose the problem. We ended up deciding to replace our aging furnace instead of repairing it. Within the day the Holmin team had installed the new furnace, and we were able to put away our army of borrowed space heaters.

Throughout the process we felt very informed of alternatives and costs involved. They did a great job and definitely went the extra mile to make sure everything was done right. They weren't even working on the AC, but when they were done, our coolant line had been insulated as a bonus. 🙂

They were very responsive with their communication, and even scheduled me next day after I confirmed that I wanted to use them to add more return vents in my basement. They were very reasonable. Their work area was clean. When I got the bid, Phil went above and beyond to ensure he gave me good recommendations to prevent mold in my basement again. They were very respectful and reliable to interact with. I am very happy with their services and would definitely use them again!

I had an issue with my furnace not keeping up to temp when outside air temps were below average. I contacted Holmin and Phil was at my door within the hour. Not only was Phil professional and knowledgeable, he also took the time to educate me with what he had done and why.
The next day showed similar defaults as before and Phil was back that afternoon to take additional actions resulting in a perfectly tuned furnace.
