I called C & G company and express the result of work. The manager, 100% refund check, mailed to me.
I am a senior citizen, not always, but I run into people/company trying to abuse situation we seniors are in.
In current situation we are in under Covid 2 years and still going on, high inflation chocking our budget, almost like WW 3 WAR Zone In Ukline. We have been through so much.
Please, ,Respect your profession and do the work with your pride and honest.
I review C & G Heating & Cooling is NOT putting them down. They did refund me 100%. We all make mistake .... hope not happen again, specially to those are in Senior age.
C & G Heating and Cooling offered a great price for a whole house humidifier install. Tim came and looked at the area where the humidifier was being installed and told me the model that would fit & that the time for install would be 3-4 hours.
The day of install came and the technician began the work. I checked in every now and then, and after 3 hours the technician said that he didn't have enough material to complete the install and would have to leave to get what was missing. I asked him if Tim shared any information about the setup after Tim's visit, and he said no, so there was a missed opportunity to avoid this delay. The entire job ended up taking 8 hours, which the tech apologized about.
After a week of operation I noticed the humidifier was draining non-stop, so I googled this and came up with a few results (solenoid valve stuck open, or wiring was wrong). I looked into it, and if I powered off the unit the water would stop, so that ruled out the valve. I checked the wiring and had to redo some of it to get the solenoid to turn on only when the furnace would be pushing heat instead of just draining water constantly.
All in all, the installation took much longer than promised, and the unit was not wired properly.
Edit: C&G Heating were very helpful getting the issue resolved and supporting the install for a longer period. Great customer service after the bad install experience, pleased with their professionalism & support
My airco quit putting out cold air. I called C&G based on their reviews on Google. One of their technicians was here the next day! He identified the problem (the compressor motor was shot). I asked Tim for a quote to replace the entire system and he provided three different pricing options based on different efficiency ratings. Even the highest price quote was less than one I had received before. I opted to just replace the motor; the part was ordered yesterday and installed this morning. I couldn't be happier!
We had a top notch team of installers on May 22, 2018. Scott, Noal, & Brad were professional, considerate, and extremely polite. We not only had a new AC & coil put in, but also a new register in our kitchen, at the recommendation of another company. They started the job about 745/8am and were finished by 230pm. I will recommend C & G to anyone who asks. Thank you!
I called them on Thursday morning and they were willing to come out that day, it didn't work schedule wise but 1st thing Friday morning they were out. Our furnace was making a noise the the guy that came out was very nice, drove out to get the part and was back within about an hour or so.
He did a general service, put in the new motor and was very nice and quick about things. Price wise, well what can I say; no one likes paying $700 on house things but I feel for the labor and part and service it is what it is. Can't go without heat.
I have nothing but good things to say about this company. The owner is very down to earth and friendly. He stopped by my house last minute, on a Saturday afternoon, to fix my AC. He only charged me the price of parts and the labor was free since I was still under warranty. They are outstanding!
C&G have been my "Go TO" guys for my home and my business for many years. They are always reasonable and have been super responsive to my every need and concern. They truly are people I can trust to always treat me fair.
Owner is extremely responsive even before a "sale" .. answers all questions and gives advice. Ran into a couple issues with an ecobee thermostat install, they researched, had folks back out almost immediately to resolve.
Technicians installed my furnace and air conditioning unit, mike and Demetrius did a fabulous job I would recommend c&g to everyone,they do a very good job.
