John's installed my A/C and when it wasn't cooling cooling I scheduled a service call and received a prompt appointment. The Tech was professional and explained the recent storm took out my capacitator. The house is cooling nicely now.
John realized that I was in a panic when my blower stopped working on a 27 degree evening. Even though he was already home for the day and none of his men were available when I contacted his company, he came to my house to check things out and reassure me that my pipes would not freeze before morning. That, in itself, was priceless because i was scared out of my mind about that possibility. John returned with the part early the next day and had things up and running before my house got below 55 degrees. i would totally recommend this guy who saved my sorry behind ! Thanks, John. I will be calling you in the spring to check out my air conditioning so that I can avoid a hot house emergency.
I am giving Johns a 5 star because I used them on a total heat and AC replacement and also complete new plumbing supply and waste. They completed the heat and AC replacement in less then a day. They past all township inspections first time. The plumbing was a bit more involved due to the fact that there had to be two inspections one the rough second the final. Both inspections went off without a hitch. The owner is always polite and will answer the phone when you call.
Ridiculous. Just just charged me $335 for a $20 generic capacitor and 10 minutes of labor. Absolutely refused to break down the pricing and said "that's just what we charge." Basically ripped us off because it's 92° out and they knew we were desperate to get the AC on. They just lost a returning customer. I will never be using them again.
Came home to the condenser making a buzzing noise and the fan blades not moving. John's sent a tech out in 2 hours and got the fan working. Ordered the part and installed the next day. Fast and friendly service.
Fantastic price quoted. Scheduled end of May for an installation today. I called and confirmed on June 9, 2016. After waiting for them I called at 9 am today July 15. 2016 since no one showed up and this was the scheduled date. I was told by tho office staff that "you were called--that was cancelled--it is off the board." Not true at all. A "manager" called me back later and said that the owner had pulled the paperwork and no one knows why. "there's a lot of new girls at the desk. Cannot get an answer because his mother is in surgery. He is to be calling me later. "things like this never happen." Maybe it is an omen. I will let you know how it plays out but right now I am very angry to say the least. I will post a subsequent review to let you know how it played out.
