Can someone explain to me how this place has 4.9 stars and almost 500 reviews...all perfect? Oh yeah they are just fake reviews.
Had a guy come out to diagnose a problem with my furnace. In the end, he could not find the issue however kept pushing me to replace it. New furnaces last MAYBE 10 years, so yeah not looking to spend $7k for a worse furnace.
I literally paid these people to DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM and they could not figure it out? I am literally no better than I was when the guy came. Plus the guy tells me the furnace does not have a flame sensor....HUH? Even looking at the parts catalog I know it has a flame sensor.
Seriously people do not use them. All the reviews are fake and I dare anyone to prove otherwise.
The gentleman was extremely polite, considerate, kind and professional. There is not a bad word I can say about my experience today. Thanks for a job well done.
4 year old furnace started acting up a few days ago, called Coastal Air and they had a tech out within a few hours. After about a day and a half and a few visits they had the system back up and running and helped me start the warranty process. Worked with Rob, Tommy and Mike and all three were great to deal with, professional and super helpful with the repairs and explaining things. They kept me updated throughout the process and made multiple trips out to their supply houses to get the parts needed for the repair same day. Highly recommended.
Tom was extremely professional, proficient, and knowledgeable. He communicated clearly, and was very polite. He thoroughly completed his tasks, and proudly represented his company. We look forward to continuing our relationship with this company.
Technician Tony went above and beyond and spent over two hours making sure everything was in order. Plus he explained in detail how to ensure the problem would not recur.

The first one they had to move the install date up on the heating unit due to an impending snow storm. Then finished the A/C part after the snow cleared. Very flexible company. I would highly recommend Coastal to anyone.
Coastal A/C installed a Fujitsu 24,000 BTU mini split with 2 12,000 BTU heads. Did a nice job: overcame surprises for this 1949 house, like the kitchen and living room walls were insulated concrete, not the standard wood frame construction! Had to route HVAC line under French Doors, where the 'line hide' would not fit. But this was easily solved with a little carpentry. The A/C is cooling the entire 1st floor very nicely, and is whisper quiet. The wife (my Boss :-) and I are quite pleased!
First maintenance 12/16 was thorough and complete. Alex ( the technician) was excellent in cleaning filters and checking out performance of both heating units.
