NY Boiler & Air Conditioning Repair

Will was excellent. Very thorough and even pointed out a problem with the wiring of the AC that the installer had done. I would recommend NY Boiler & Air Conditioning highly. Also, Will treated my 94 year old dad with so much respect.

NY Boiler Repair did a phenomenal job for me on very short notice. Not only do they do boiler work, but they also expertly perform regular plumbing repairs. In my case, NY Boiler Repair fixed a leaking main drain and did so within 4 hours of the discovery of the leak, which was pretty bad. It was a simple job. My boiler ran out of oil and after getting it filled up it would not fire up as it was on a hard lockout. I called a pro because this not my area of expertise. All they had to do was bleed the boiler and restart the furnace which they did without a hitch. The problem is that the service fee is too pricey. I was charged $434.50 for something so simple that it took the guys less than five minutes to correct. I agreed to the $200 service charge but then to have another $200 plus tax be added is exorbitant. This is not a service; it’s an outrage.

Stay away!! I've requested a refund via email that has gone unanswered. These people are thieves.

$300 "repair" and the boiler stopped working 3 days later. The return repairman stated a different problem (why wasn't it diagnosed on day one?) which would take 2-3 hours to remedy at the of cost $250 an hour plus the cost of the part. I DON'T THINK SO AND DON'T COME BACK.

EDIT: One week later, my family tells me the company charged then for the return visit on the third day the boiler stopped working and charged another $200 for showing up. Not only did they show up and not do anything, my son went and replaced the faculty part himself and switched the thermostat back to "Gas" from "Oil."

They have done twice jobs for me and i was very satisfied each time. Most importantly they cleaned everything after completing their job.
