Had another great experience with Bill and Shawn from Air Velocity. A friend recommended Bill 7 years ago when our heat pump failed. Bill came out and replaced it and we had no issues. This year our upstairs unit failed due to age. We immediately called Bill and Shawn to replace. When they came to install the unit, they repaired the broken step on the pull down ladder so that there would be no issues getting the new unit up in the attic. We had tried for years to find someone to fix that step! We had some trouble with figuring out the air flow upstairs between rooms so Bill came back to adjust the dampers and everything is now perfectly balanced.

We would highly recommend Air Velocity. Bill and Shawn are always professional, courteous, timely and contentious about your home. They speak to you in layman terms, they don't try to sell you something you don't need and take pride is providing quality workmanship and service. It is nice to find a honest business!!

I called Air Velocity on a Friday morning because my AC wasn't working. Bill and Shawn came out that same morning and explained what the issue was in terms I could understand! Bill explained in detail what my options were for repairing or replacing the system in what I felt was a very honest and straight forward manner. No "hard sell" tactics at all. I chose to have them replace my system as it was an older unit and the new system came with a great warranty. They installed my new system the following Tuesday. Bill did a great job with our summer tune up, found a few minor equipment issues from original installer, fixed them and adjusted the dampers to get air flow reduced in our front two rooms near the unit. Would recommend him and will continue to use him for our HVAC service.

We purchased a fixer upper home that had a disastrous heat pump situation. With an incorrectly-installed air handler unit draining condensate under the house, and plenums that were not connected properly, the dank moist crawlspace air was being sucked up into the living space of the house. Enter our superheroes, Bill and Shawn from Air Velocity! Not only did they pull the proper permit and size the unit correctly, but they expertly replaced the whole system - air handler, condenser, plenums -- on one of the hottest days of the summer. The best part was that they suspended the new air handler from the joists (as opposed to sitting it up on old cinderblock pedestals), so that when we had the space encapsulated, there was no need to cut holes in the underlayment. Not only does the new air handler look good, but it's SO quiet - and coupled with the new thermostat and outdoor condenser, it's a total system that is efficient and effective in making our home climate wonderful! Air Velocity's team is professional, honest, hard-working, friendly and skilled. They know what they are talking about, don't oversell, and stand behind their work. HVAC is the kind of thing that must be done right the first time, and these guys make sure of it. We worked with Bill to have our new AC units installed about a year ago and he was very professional and did good quality work. Since then, we have had a couple of questions, and he was very accommodating in helping us out. I would highly recommend Air Velocity to anybody looking for HVAC work.

Bill & Sean were wonderful to work with. They replaced our HVAC system, thermostat, and duct work. They were done on time, communicated well with us step by step. We had trouble, due to our lack of techy knowledge, with our thermostat. Bill came back out to further help us with that. Everything is great!
