I would not recommend this company to anyone if you don’t want to spend a lot of money outside of your service contract. I can not recall a single time they have come to my home and not mysteriously found a problem although my system was working fine prior to their arrival. December 2022 my downstairs unit wasn’t heating properly so I contacted Relief because I had a contract with them. Technician came out and after about an hour called me outside to point out what he thought was the issue. Needless to say I was livid when I saw he was working on the wrong unit (which I had to bring to his attention). He replaced a part that wasn’t needed and had the audacity to charge me for it! My upstairs unit was working properly so the part he put in wasn’t needed and I feel as if he fabricated an issue that didn’t exist. By the time he finished working on the correct unit I was provided a bill for $791.80 which did not include the discount I should have been given based on the fact I had a contract with them. Fast forward to April 2023 (only because I have the contract). Technician came out and found an issue which cost me 291.04 that took him about 5 minutes to fix. I have no clue what the issue was this time but once again I did not receive my discount for having a contract with them. Sadly I have 2 contracts with them ( one for an additional property). In a 4 month time frame I have given Relief $1082.84! A week after the last visit I was experiencing issues so I did call another company that came out and pointed out several issues and not believing I just had my units serviced less than a week ago. I will NEVER use Relief again!

Relief Heating and Cooling was easily the best customer service I've gotten in the Triad! Matthew came out to diagnose our old heat pump, and had a new system being installed the very next day. Everyone involved in this company absolutely respected our time, communicated clearly, was so nice and professional, knowledgeable, and installed a great product. The tech even wiped his fingerprints off our thermostat before he left! I've recommended them to my friends and neighbors and am always happy to send such a great company (and family!) business.

I love their maintenance plan and trust them to do great work and be honest with me. They are extremely reliable and professional. Bought a new AC system from them and was very happy with the process and product.

I was VERY pleased with this company. They gave me several price options to choose from to repair my HVAC. I am so pleased that I am going to use them to install a mini split in my converted garage to office and when I buy a new HVAC I will use them as they gave me several price options. After diagnosing and repairing an old system in the home I’d just bought, the Relief Heating crew continues to provide regular maintenance and transparent pricing information.The technicians are prompt, knowledgeable, professional and respectful of the property they’re servicing. The office staff is also outstanding.

Relief replaced an old (30 Years) a/c unit just before the 90 degree days. I was amazed that the response was immediate, sales person was on time and the installers were on time. Not normal in todays market. Price was slightly lower than expected. Will use again for any a/c issues.

It was the day before the Christmas weekend, the low was 5 degrees that night and my heat pump died. I searched Google for a highly rated company that supported our military veterans and found RELIEF HEATING and COOLING, LLC.
The tech (Matthew) arrived on time, introduced himself, and proceeded to work very hard to repair my heating system so that I had something to keep my family warm over the holidays. with parts not available for my unit, Matthew used his years of experience to repair my broken parts and got my heat working temporarily to help me get through the holiday crisis without freezing, and it is still working very well a few weeks later!
I know I will need a replacement system soon and I will certainly use RELIEF HEATING and COOLING, LLC when I am ready for that step. Thanks to Matthew and the Relief team for saving my family's Christmas!

The service was an estimate to replace an old furnace and air conditioner with new ones or with a heat pump. The tech communicated well, was on time, and was knowledgeable. He diagnosed a current problem with our furnace and air duct system. We had received estimates from 2 other heating/cooling companies which gave us a choice of installations - basic, medium range and high end. Matthew from Relief showed me some figures on his computer pad but did not offer to send me comparable bids like the other companies. Thus, we are not able to fully evaluate Relief’s bid in comparison with the other two companies. We said we were gathering information to make an informed decision but it felt more like we were in a car dealership being “up sold” and asked to make a decision today. One example is that a couple of companies were promoting installing a 2 zone thermostat system. In their bid one company said it would cost just over $2,000.00 for a 2 zone system. Relief gave me a verbal estimate of $3,500 to $5,500 for a similar 2 zone system. We really liked a lot about Relief heating and cooling, their communication and responsiveness and their knowledge and expertise. Where they came up short was giving us concrete information that we could compare with other bids from other companies.

Amazing A+ company. They were outstanding and very informative about my HVAC issue. Matthew made sure all repairs surpass my expectations. Also, wonderful employees that performed the job to the highest quality. I'm confident that my AC system will be maintained with their service plan.
