My air conditioner went out the last week of June, I reach out to an air conditioner company that was recommended by a guy l knew. Well the A/C guy came out and replaced the freon......less than a week later the air conditioner failed again. I was able to get in contact with Matthew , he was recommended by my nephew who spoke highly of him. Matthew came out to check my a/c on Sunday and advised it would be in my best interest to replace my unit. I have not been disappointed. The unit was replaced in one day and has been running problem free. Thanks you Matthew for providing exceptional service.
I can’t describe how dissatisfied I have been in Relief Heating & Cooling. Our York unit is 3 years old, and is still under a parts and labor warranty. When the unit stoped working and our coil begin to freeze we called the company that had originally installed it(Relief) and spoke with Matthew. We spoke several times and they assured us they would come check it out and fix our issues. We were even told that this problem should not be happening with a unit that is only 3 years old. Needless to say, they found ways to charge us despite it being under warranty. They claimed the dye and pressure test was not covered, but was needed despite not finding any issues..$415 later. A week later the unit began freezing again, it took them several days to come back out, assess the problem, said they found the issue and ordered the part. Before they would even install the part they made me pay half before they would even come out an install it. (Held it captive if you will) it has now been about a month with no AC. They installed the new part on October 21st and today (2 weeks after "fixing it") the same thing has happened again. All this to say, if you want to be ripped off and have a warranty for parts...only for it to be held to make you pay before they "fix it"...and if you want to go without AC for a month...only for it to break down again after they "fix it" then use this company. We’re not ones to write negative reviews and were willing to work with anyone, but have been very disappointed in their communication and overall process. We will be going with another company to fix our unit. I recommend you do the same.
Relief Heating and Cooling did an excellent job installing the new Heating/AC system. The young men who came were very polite and professional. They cleared out the old unit and cleaned up the area. I have used Relief Heating and Cooling in the past and strongly recommend them for anyone's HVAC system.
Troy was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and professional. After what seemed like countless hours in the cold trying to fix it so many ways, Troy and Jacob arrived to save the day. If I could change one thing about my experience, it would be that the people in charge of providing adequate living conditions called them sooner! Thank you so much Troy, happy new year!
I know Mathew for at least 10 years, he has repaired my old unit and even installed a new unit, he is the guy I can trust when comes to HVAC. He is very professional, punctual and knowledgeable and courteous.
He never tried to overcharge me for his service
I would recommend him to everyone I know. Recently he has installed a new unit for my father in law house and even they’re very pleased with his service. So in short call him for any of your HVAC needs
Fantastic service, veteran friendly, good response time, fair and upfront pricing. My technician was very thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. Great experience, inasmuch as being without AC can be great in the summer.
Relief heating & cooling have been our go to company for both units in our home. Mathew and son Daniel are trustworthy and professional. They have been maintaining both units for more than 10 years and have also replaced the upstairs unit completely. I am not always willing to spend the money however it is hard to get around the honesty and commitment of Relief heat & cooling. I can’t see ever using any other company for our heating & air needs. I had a bird stuck in my vent and the guy didn’t even take off my vent to see if the bird was in there. He diagnosed the situation. THEN he said that he would need to come back to actually fix it. He told me he was going to Home Depot but would come back. Instead he went to another house. He came later I. That day and did NOT do the job he should have. He called himself “cleaning” the dryer vent (of which he just put the white covering cage over my dryer unit but didn’t clean out the birds nest. He said he didn’t see a bird but that he guess the bird got away. But he didn’t bother to remove the fan cover. So for 400 dollars all he did was install the fan cover. That’s IT!!! Well when he left I called another company who came out and found the bird stick in my fan vent. Waste of money. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!!!
Called relief to schedule a technician coming out for service. Very professional and courteous. Clear idea of when I'd be seeing someone. Technician (matthew) was very knowledgeable and transparent about condition of my equipment, pricing, service options, etc. Very pleased with the service I received from them
Excellent customer service. They were very responsive to the job and completed it very timely. The trash and debris was cleaned and cleared around area. I would recommend them to anyone that needed their services.
