To be fair, let me start off by saying that (to their credit) they offered other services in the area after warning me that they (themselves) were pretty pricey. But The first person they suggested didn't even show up! With that being said I chose them because I really, really wanted this done.

CONS: (In every sense of the word.) 1.EXCESSIVELY EXPENSIVE!! For the total cost of the UNIT, ACCESSORIES, DELIVERY & LABOR, They charged me over $6,000.00!!! When I looked up the UNIT online It RETAILED for less than $1200.00. I can only imagine the unit costing $2000,00 (MAX) with everything included (minus home delivery & Installation)
2. Warranty: The first key selling point was 10 year parts and labor. Only to discover (AFTER the unit was installed) that, a system check up was needed ($89.00) twice a year in order to validate the 10 Year parts and labor warranty. This makes the warranty not even worth the paper it was written on. (Do the math)
3.Furthermore, based on their body language, I sensed that THEY (The techs) even KNEW it was a rip off. I'm guessing that they must've made a nice commission off of this sale. (If they didn't. Shame on them)
4. One tech kept making a useless point that the machine was made by "the Japanese" (What's THAT all about??) which was unsettling but hey, who am I to judge him right??
PROS: 1. Financing was available with a no money down, low monthly payment. So with good credit, you don't have to pay anything up front. I plan to pay it off early but the lown monthly payments will be great for "incidentals" if anything unexpected was to occur.
2. At first sight, The installation work appears to be solid and TOP NOTCH through and through. Everything was tight and clean looking after they were done. I don't think many could achieve this type of work with this level of quality without the proper training and experience. Obviously no expense was spared (on my part) to get it done. whether the unit will hold up? Only time will tell.
3. The guys showed up on time!! I'm big on punctuation (and even early at that). So that was a huge plus.
4. Outside of the Price, Sticker Shock, and misleading sales tactics, to be fair, the service was above par as far as the installation goes. But I still cant help but feel ripped off and the only reason I used them was because my instincts told I would have lots of problems finding a reliable HVAC professional who would install it CORRECTLY so if anything was to go wrong, I can just have a new one retrofitted with very little labor.
Finally, I understand this is a business that is designed to stay solvent and profitable with residual income but a customer must FEEL like he is winning when using your services. I should be happy with the "unit" once I get over the HUGE price tag. Would I use them again? I don't think so. Their business model does not allow me to.

These men came out the next day, there names were Cody and Joshua. Very personal and Joshua was so funny and cute that I may have to break something so I can get him back out here:)

Don't bother calling. Rhode Island number called and said he didn't come out at night except for maintenance customers...I said my wife has asthma so I needed to get service tonight. Kind of an 'oh well' answer. I guess he didn't care.
