Crane Heating and Air Conditioning

Had a scheduled A/C cleaning for 8am(first appointment of the day) and the serviceman arrived at 9:15. Work was all completed to satisfaction but he took 2HRS, to do an A/C cleaning! I can’t imagine a whole install. Serviceman was slow as a sloth and first entered my home without my permission! Very few updates or descriptions were given on what work was being completed until the very end.
If you just need the work done at a decent rate then you are good, just make sure you have a whole morning free for an 8am appt and don’t mind someone walking into your house unannounced.

The whole process was fantastic from submitting a request online which I got a very quick response to the tech who was so friendly and explained everything he was doing and finished up quickly cleaned up after himself and solve the problem expediently. I would highly recommend,

Came out next day. Identified problem right away. Service tech was professional and knowledgeable. Cost was very expensive. $189 service fee which is fairly standard, plus $144 labor for 15 minutes worth of work. That I have an issue with.

I have had Crane Heating service my furnace and A/C for over 30 years. I have always received excellent service. They helped us choose our new heating and a/c system about 7 yrs ago and it has worked very well. Their technicians are always friendly, kind and efficient.
They called about my appt scheduled for today (Friday, Dec 23 ) and asked if they could come early because of the approaching weather. I appreciated this and they even allowed me to be their first call of the day yesterday because I had a commitment at 10:30a.

Unresolved fan noise. Can’t sleep when fan runs. Great service reps but after two visits and $320 fee, the fan is still too noisy to allow sleep. And we paid for an upgrade when the furnace was replaced. If I don’t use a filter it sounds great.

Might just be bad equipment but would be better if it could be fixed.

Oh, and I paid $320 and we have the yearly maintenance agreement.

Not sure what to do from here.

Worst installation EVER. Mine is new built by Fisher homes(2020) and CRANE is our HVAC installers and within 2yrs (2022) saw water dripping from ceiling pointing us directly to HVAC drain pipes. Called them for labor warranty and they mentioned warranty is just 1yr and have to pay them $150+ trip fee and for parts. 1yr labor warranty for a new HVAC thats been installed by them ? Just an alert to whoever wants to use their service, be cautious on warranty as there are many vendors out there with supreme warranty and customer service
