Service technician (Fred) was on time, very nice and knowledgeable. The only downside and why my furnace is still not working is the ridiculous mark up they have on parts. 600%?. No thanks.
My husband met with the rep. . He was very by the book and leaning more towards selling us something . We have been pleased with reps in past that seemed more experienced and Intuitive re: recommend vs actual lifecycle of a parts and genuinely sincere re: service & maintenance in relation to recommendations.
The technicians arrived when they said they would and set to work. They answered any questions I had and were professional in a relaxed manner. I felt comfortable having them in my home.
Jeremy was on time and very polite. He helped me figure out the thermostat icon that suddenly appeared. He explained the process of the cleaning and he pointed out that the built in humidifier was turned off.
Our service person was Kam, who was very professional and courteous. He worked efficiently and cleaned the filters well as part of his service. His explanation of the beginning of a problem with our a/c was clear and informative so that we know what to expect and what to plan for in our budget for the near future. Thanks, Kam!
I would never recommend these guys to even my worst enemies. If I could give a lower review I would and I'll be filing in small claims court to get my money back from other techs I have had to come fix their install.
I own multiple properties, including rentals, and I own a real estate brokerage with 15 years of experience in the business. I've seen a lot.
1. I got a new furnace in 2015. They did come out immediately and installed the furnace on a Friday afternoon. I had to have them come back on the next day, Saturday, because the furnace wouldn't stay on for more than a minute or two and then it would shut off. Tech comes out, finds the issue and their original install left one of the rubber lines too long and it was backing up into the furnace. It gets fixed and works. 2. 2016 we start having issues again. I paid extra for a service contract the year before which was to include priority service. Well I waited for at least a day and multiple calls to be told "they're coming either today or tomorrow".. 2 days later they are able to come out. 3. 2017 - I notice lots of water in my basement, look likes maybe gutters?? Nope. After I track down the source it's the furnace. Tech comes back out and realizes they didn't seal the pipes that expel condensation. So it's not only flooding the furnace but my basement. They also want to charge me $100 for a trip charge. Office response "Sorry, we charge that no matter what".. OK?? I am also asked if I want to renew my service contract. I say now, but the office worker also informs me I should have gotten one for free at install, it's part of what they offer. Then why was I offered this for a fee at time of install??? 4. 2018 - Today actually - I have a totally separate company out to fix it again. They are at my house as I write this. Furnace is still getting water and condensation inside the unit and has rusted part of the furnace..
I will be filing a small claims suit and getting my money back for sure. Avoid at all costs..
Service was fast and friendly. From the very beginning of talking and walking through, Tripp and the other staff was great. Very Knowledgeable about what they do. They removed our old oil furnace, installed a new one and ran air in a house that has never had it before. In and out and it's still doing fine heading into our 2nd winter. Even checked in with us and walk through to check on it. Great service
Imagine waking up at 4:30 a.m. to discover it's 55 degrees in your home because your furnace quit working and it's 15 degrees outside. I called two different local HVAC businesses to see if anyone could respond quickly before the water pipes in my house started to freeze. US Heating and Air Conditioning promptly responded, sending David out. David diagnosed the problem and shortly after we met with Tony to purchase a furnace replacement. They could not have provided a more seamless response, it was a huge relief having their guidance and professionalism. By the end of the day we had a new furnace installed and the purchase did not feel forced, my family's safety was clearly the priority. Any future HVAC service I need will definitely be handled by US Heating and Air Conditioning, in my experience they can't be beat.
I've had the same service man the last 2 visits. He is friendly and personable. He's on time and gets the work done. Great job. I've been with this company for over 20 years. Everyone is fantastic.
Very happy with my service of my new furnace through US heating. They have a friendly staff and the gentlemen that came out to check to my furnace for my spring check up was super nice and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend US heating and air to any of my family and friends! I have been a very happy customer!
