Dor-Mar Reynoldsburg Heating and Air Conditioning Service

The original work was fine. The install happened on schedule and within the given budget.

However, a couple months after the install they were scheduled to do maintenance and they requested that I sign away their liability if anything goes wrong.... On a brand new system that they had just installed themselves.

I wish I had a time machine to give my business to someone else instead.

In the response, the owner says the install was "a couple years ago" The service was in August of last year. That would be 6 months ago. It's their brand-new install. If it was older or someone else's work I would have a different stance here. However, there is literally no excuse in this situation to expect me to bear the risk of DomMar performing service on a new dormer installation.

The primary point remains, though. Any company is responsible for their work and I would expect any company to take responsibility for any issues or damages their work might cause.

I will get the system maintained, but it will not be DorMar who does the work and I will relate this story to anyone I talk to about this sort of work.

Doug was very professional with all aspects of my tankless water heater install. He explained the installation process and made sure I understood everything that was going to happen. If he had questions he asked them. After the installation, they explained how to use the system, where they put the product literature and ensured the workspace was cleaned up. To be fair they left it better then they found it. I highly recommend DorMar.

This was for the annual check of the furnace. Corey had finished his previous appointment early and called to ask if it would be convenient for him to come to my house early and I said yes. He gave me an estimate of his arrival time. He was professional but also personable. The furnace is located in a room off the kitchen so we talked while he was working. He checked the furnace and replaced the filters with the new ones I had. There were no problems with the furnace so all went well. I enjoyed his visit as well as I was glad the furnace was good. I think Corey is an outstanding example of and representive of the people who work at DorMar. He definitely gets 5 stars from me.

Brian Moore came to our house to look at our air conditioning unit today. He was very kind and transparent. He told us everything upfront before he got to work. He was through and let us know all of our options. I appreciate him taking his time and telling us what all needed to be done and doing all he could do today for us. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

Stone did a GREAT job fixing the issue with my furnace. He found the problem with the gas valve on a Thursday 10/28/21 and the following week on Tuesday 11/2/21 he returned to install the New Part. Thanks Stone for the dedication in making sure this customer was taking care of.Thanks also to the fast response from Dormars Part Dept [Chris} to send out my Quote the Following Day, Also Very Friendly and helpful people that answers the phones. Last week we had a new furnace and air installed. The technicians were very polite and respectful the entire day they were here. Today Brad came out for an inspection. He helped us out with a hot water tank issue that was not Dormar's responsibility, but he wanted to ensure safety for me and my family. I appreciate the timely, respectful, caring employees of Dormar.

I called with a furnace issue and had an appointment set same day. Upon arrival, they took time to diagnose the problem and get me working temporarily, and scheduled for replacement of heater coil and New AC unit the next day.
Tom and Rick came out and installed everything, and it looks and I couldn't be happier. The Metal work is impeccable in contrast to what was done 6 Years ago when my furnace was replaced, Thanks guys for a great experience.

Stone was the technician who came to my house. He was friendly, courteous, and professional. He diagnosed my furnace problem quickly and he had it up and running in no time. I also asked him to install a new thermostat which he completed in minutes.

Cody and Doug came out this morning to replace our ancient air conditioner and were awesome! They worked quickly and efficiently, explaining things to us along the way and ensuring we stayed informed. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone for any hvac needs!
