This company is very unprofessional and lacks complete knowledge of repairing ac units. This company came to my home and misdiagnosed my ac unit, did not call a diagnosis in to AHS and charged me $360.00 to replace refrigerant in my ac unit knowing that this was not the problem. In my opinion this company has no business being in business. This company will not respond to the issue and has no intention of making it right. Another company came to my home and correctly diagnosed it and is in the process of repairing the unit as it should have been by climate zone. They are extremely unprofessional and needs closed down! I will be having an attorney looking into this and I will move forward if need be.

I am compelled to write this review as I am completely appalled and shocked by this experience. Like many other reviews here, I was assigned Climate Zone heating and air through American Home Shield (AHS) home warranty company in April 2022. Climate zone stated I needed a replacement furnace and turned off my HVAC system due to potential gas leak if left on. Then they were unresponsive for 2weeks. AHS let me know that this company had picked up the new furnace system already. Since then, its been 6 weeks, I have not been able to get a hold of Climate Zone. Neither has the warranty company via phone or email. We had 100 degree weather and I'm unable to turn my cooling on. AHS says "trying to contact this contractor because they have been approved to do the work" Today, after I escalated the issue, they assigned another contractor with equally poor reviews and unresponsiveness! This is unbelievable and unethical business practice for a large company like AHS to continue working with these subpar contractors that have longstanding issues as documented in reviews dating back to before 2019. I believe most customers will get desperate due to extreme temps and go out on their own to fix their HVACs. Win for AHS & contractor - and loss for the consumer as usual.

Was sent out through American Home Shield to diagnosis an issue with my air handler, took days to submit the diagnosis to the company and then when they had an approval to do the repair I didn’t hear from them for 5 days forcing me to have another company come out to my house while my heat was out in the middle of the winter.

Knowing this was a small business, I expected longer turnaround times. I was recommended to them by a friend and was told to leave a message but should receive a call back shortly, and I did! Becca and Amy were patient, kind, and very knowledgeable. They knew I was a first time home owner, and answered all my questions with compassion. They worked with my hectic schedule and showed up well within the window given. Thank you again!

July 2019 I called my home warranty to get my air conditioner fixed. The home warranty assigned me to Climate Zone Heating. It took them forever to come out and "fix" my air conditioner. The technician came out and she didn't "fix" my air conditioner until October 2019 and it was too cold to turn the air conditioner on. May 2020 I turned the air conditioner on and there was no cooling air. I called home warranty and had a contractor come out and said that Climate Zone didn't fix the air conditioner properly and that Climate Zone had to fix my air conditioner. Climate Zone came out in June 2020 and tried to say someone else repaired the air conditioner and that it wasn't by their own doing. The home warranty and I have been trying to get a hold of them and they will not return our calls. I highly recommend that you DO NOT use this company. They are unreliable.

Was assigned to this company by our Home Warranty. Was having problems with A/C running constantly, leaking, and not reaching target temp. They came out twice and both times just said "Our levels were a little high." Obviously nothing was fixed and we continued to have problems so was able to get a different company to come out. Turns out we have a leak on our outside coil, a leak on our inside coil, and a crack in our drain pan. They recommended replacing the system.

This company is probably fine for general check-ups, but if you're have problems/need a fix, look elsewhere if you can.

The technician for this company was sent out by my Home Warranty Company. She said the furnace would never run and was not up to code which voided my home warranty. I had both hvac systems installed 5 years ago, permits pulled and inspected. Don't waste your time and money on people who don't know what they are doing. As a side note, the furnace is now running, stink bugs were the problem....

Amazing service! Had a frozen AC line and no cool air in the house. Within 2 hours they were at the house, fixed the problem, and the tech pointed out a few other items that needed addressed. This prevented us from having a second service call later in the year. I've used multiple AC companies over the years and Climate Zone is by far my favorite. I definitely use them again if needed.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The technician that came out was very unprofessional, did not explain anything at all, and after she was done she left and put in an incorrect diagnosis. She said that my AC had to have been broken for over a month and had a preexisting condition for it to be in the state it was, even though 3 days before she was out to look at it the AC unit was keeping my house at 70 degrees inside when it was in the high 80's outside. I was not informed of any of this by her and she did not say a word to me, just packed up and left. I am very disappointed in the overall lack of care for the customer and lack of professionalism shown by the technician. I would not recommend using this company.

Very professional and personable. Made us feel at ease. They were honest and listened to our wants and needs (low cost repair vs relacement). I recommend Climate Zone Heating & Air to everyone wanting an honest and professional HVAC company to address all their heating and air needs.
