A really great team diagnosed my heater problem and repaired it within the day. Will definitely use for HVAC needs and for routine maintenance.

It's forcing me to choose a star in order to post, however, ZERO STARS. I would NOT RECOMMEND under any circumstances. Not even in an emergency. I'd rather be freezing or dying in the heat than have these dishonest employees in my home again. Their misdiagnosis and treatment of my AC unit (overfilling with Freon instead of investigating the root cause of system failure) caused additional issues to my HVAC system within 36 hours of the service call. After telling me it would be another $89.95 service call to come back out and problem-solve, and me insisting to the owner that the service should be guaranteed and I should pay nothing for them to come back out, she agreed to have her techs come back out for free. I refused to let them come back out to my house after her sudden change of price (the dishonesty begins).
This resulted in me having to pay to obtain a second opinion, system diagnosis and proper service from a different local HVAC company (which I would HIGHLY recommend). Emerald denied any wrong doing and refused to take responsibility for the root cause of the issue (blindly adding freon to a unit that did not need freon, not documenting the freon that was added and not charging me for the freon. The techs also denied adding freon despite telling me before they left that they topped the system off with freon).
Long story short - if you're going to pay to have a job done, pay AMERICARE to have the job done right the first time.

Without heat on a cold day...Bree promptly showed up, thoroughly examined our heating unit, discovered the malfunctioning part, then took the time to investigate to see if that part was still under warrantee with the manufacturer...She was able to save me the replacement cost of the part, and charge me for labor only...Thank you Bree and Emerald Heat & Air for a job well done.

My air conditioning went out last night! I called Emerald Heat & Air they fixed it the following afternoon! They were courteous, dependable but most of all reasonable! I will be calling them the next time I have problems!

The folks at Emerald are dedicated to providing the customers with first class service and stand behind their work. If you don't use Emerald than you will be disappointed. Like their sign says They treat you like a gem.
