Jason serviced our AC unit. He seemed knowledgeable and talked me through what he was doing. He had a couple of recommendations which we will definitely get done. Overall, a very positive experience.

We had a great technician sent out to diagnose the issue why our AC wasn't working. He was extremely patient, understanding. Intelligent, reasonable, explained me the process and steps he was taking and why so while troubleshooting and diagnosis. The prices run on the higher spectrum. These guys were the original installers for the system 10 yrs ago. System lifespan is about 15 to 20 yrs for using AC for only a fraction of the year in Pacific North West region such as Portland / Hillsboro Oregon area. I'm looking forward to work with them if possible to get a new system since a major leak was suspected.

I was having blower motor faults on my Bryant Evolution system so I called Specialty since they are a Carrier (and Bryant) certified company. The tech that came was amazing. My Bryant system has a Bryant thermostat that costs $900 and is a pain for any normal person to understand the functionality of it. The tech navigated it to see the log of all the faults, diagnosed potential issues, and sat on the phone with Bryant warranty claims while doing it so that he could get my system registered correctly to be covered under 5 year warranty. His assistance got me a new thermostat for free and if the blower motor is blown (he said it likely isn't) I get that for free as well which is a $1200 part! I can't say enough great things about their service so if you have a Bryant Evolution system they are a must call for maintenance. It's a great system but it's very expensive for maintenance and Specialty went above and beyond to make the repair cheap for me.

Specialty has always been very quick to reply and extremely professional. I'd use them again for big projects and recommend them to others.
For smaller things like duct cleaning, I think there are cheaper and just as good companies out there.

Derrick was terrific. He was on time, provided an estimate of how long he’d take to check out both A/C and furnace, and kept me informed about his progress. He was professional, courteous and very helpful. I’m a very satisfied customer.

Complete heating and cooling plant replacement in an old home in a historic district. The team did exactly what they promised, in the time they promised, with great communication all the way along. If work of this sort can be perfect, this work was perfect.

Years ago we were in need of a new ac, and heater. Requested many companies quote. Some sounded like they took their info from Google, others made it sound too complicated to follow except for their $$$.
Speciality Heating & Cooling inc were amongst the people I called, when their person (Ryan) came over I was immediately impressed with his communication before the visit, during and after. He was thorough, clear, came up with a smart, quick and non invasive solution on how to place a pipe that non of the competitors even came up with ! The competitors offered the easiest way for them, while it being dangerous to the house.

The installation done was insanely good ! The young man (I shamefully forgot his name) was so respectful to not just us but our garage!!! He left it cleaner than he found it 🫣

Now about the last service. They offer this amazing plan to maintain you ac and your heater. The pricing I feel can’t be beat! My spouse thought it was twice the price, no no dear! It’s that price for both maintenances ! AC and heater !!!
Again, an amazing man came on time, same amazing communication, professional, friendly and respectful to the house and our evil house panthers that had to see what was going on.

If you were to ask me if I recommend them, I have to anyone in need, and even those not in need 🤭 so yes! I highly recommend Speciality heating & cooling. When I see them driving it always leaves me with a smile, and a proud feeling I’m their client.

I was super impressed with all of the amazing service that Specialty heating offered with our very difficult installation of our hvac system. They were super quick, professional, and I LOVE my new modern system; I am absolutely blown away by the difference having this new system in my home has made in my life.

Specialty came out to our church for what was in effect a consultation visit. They were very thorough and helpful and we ended up signing on as a client.

We had our condensation tube running outside the house and during extreme cold spell it froze and shutdown the furnace. We were freezing! After explaining the situation during regular maintenance call the tech was able to reroute the tube inside to the washer water drain. We are so grateful since another cold spell is coming up. He did this on the spur of the moment & was very clever. The technicians were exceptional!
