Sol Heating & Cooling

We met Dave from SOL Heating and Cooling today for the first time. He answered the phone directly, and showed up quickly after his previous appointment. He diagnosed the problem, rapidly obtained the replacement parts from his nearby supplier, and replaced the blower motor skillfully negotiating the idiosyncrasies of our 20 year old system.
His many years of experience were on display. This was the best service call we have ever experienced and the cost was more reasonable than expected. We will be customers in the future.

Outstanding professional who is extremely knowledgeable and provides prompt service. We have trusted SOL to maintain and repair our HVAC systems at two of our homes. Since we have a heat pump, we use SOL to do a twice yearly preventive maintenance on the system. I'm glad we did; Dave caught and fixed an error from the installation done by another company. Dave also took the extra time to explain the HVAC system to both us and he did so using a common sense approach. We also had SOL install a whole house UV light in our HVAC system; we have seen quite an improvement in our inside air quality. Money well spent!!

Dave is great. He came right out on a Saturday morning, diagnosed and fixed what he could on the old heat pump in our house for a very reasonable price for the amount of time he spent at our house. Dave is very knowledgeable and explained things in detail of how our heating system works. dave is now our go to heating and air conditioning guy.

SOL did an outstanding job installing my water softener. They came to the house on time, the price was very competitive and the work was better than I have ever had in the past! I highly recommend Dave (SOL)!

My family could not speak any higher about the entirety of our experiences working with Dave and Jeff. My wife and I purchased an older fixer-upper home that had outdated and barely functioning HVAC units. When we met with Dave, he did a thorough assessment of everything and helped educate us about the different options that we had to replace them. He then provided us with quotes in a very timely manner and made us feel very confident about our decisions. For someone that doesn’t know much about this field, he took the time to explain things how I would understand them and answer any questions that I had.

During the installation, Dave and Jeff did an amazing job installing both units despite the complexities of our older home. They did this while also having to work through single degree temperatures outside through most of the time they were here. They were extremely organized, clean, and skillful throughout the entire process and despite the extreme weather challenges finished perfectly on schedule. Their work completely changed the living environment in our home and we could not be happier.

Now that both units are installed, Dave and Jeff are able to monitor our entire system remotely and having that piece of mind is amazing. Anytime there is any issue, they are notified immediately and each time they have come over within 24 hours to provide service. This included recently when a renovation to our home unexpectedly knocked out both of our units. Our system alerted them and on a FRIDAY NIGHT Jeff called my directly about the issue and within 30 minutes arrived to fix it. ON A FRIDAY NIGHT, Jeff worked at our home until 10PM to fix everything. You cannot believe how much of a lifesaver this was when we have two little kids and my wife is pregnant and were facing a weekend of temperatures in the upper 90’s without any HVAC. I Jeff a big hug on his way out.

I could not speak any higher of SOL HVAC. Dave and Jeff are absolutely amazing people and my family feels extremely lucky to have found them. They 100 percent have our full endorsement I would be happy to speak with anyone in the future as a reference.

Does not honor promises or warranties. Very rude & unprofessional. Have had ignition issues unresolved since installation. Definitely recommend another more established company with more help

Dave was great.. He was prompt and honest.. His quote matched his price.. No hidden charges.. Very personable and called me right back after I had some questions about my thermostat.. No doubt he will service my boiler from here on out.. Oh, and it's great he lives in the community..
