The best HVAC company around! Our furnace broke down on a 10 degree Pittsburgh evening and within a half hour Jay Thir was here working to get our furnace back up and running. He was professional, friendly and got the job done right. We will never have to search around for a HVAC guy again because we know we can rely on Jay Thir.

Jay was my lifesaver! For 6 months, my very young furnace would shut down for reasons I was told were unexplainable. I had called 3 different companies and had mutiple visits from one and still dealing with the issues. I stumbled upon this business by chance and am so grateful that I did...I just wish it was sooner! Jay was outstanding . Came just in time to replace my furnace in May while it was snowing and during our covid pandemic. So nice and warm now. Jay explained everything so well. I felt an immediate trust with him. I would recommend him to everyone. The price was great furnace looks good and I cannot say enough about the job. Thank you thank you.

Furnace not working, called Thir Heating. Jay diagnoses problem, need a new furnace. Mind you, this was a week before Thanksgiving. If there was no furnace in stock, we may not be able to get it until Friday after Thanksgiving. Found out there was a furnace in stock on Saturday, and Jay was here installing it on Sunday! Because he didn’t want us with out heat! I can’t say enough about Jay...honest, professional, very knowledgeable, and a man of his word. He goes above and beyond!! I would rcommend him in a heartbeat!

Jay Thir was contacted by my daughter the furnace was not working in the apartment they live in on New Year’s Day. He came right out and today he installed the new furnace !! Jay the owner is the best. Also an Army vet, which makes me a lifetime customer. He knows this equipment new and old. My furnace would stay on and it’s 17 degrees today, 21Jan20. Called in the am and he was here around dinner. Could have easily said need a furnace, yours is old. Tested the CO2 at the vent, the heat exchange, and narrowed it down to a shot blower motor. I can’t say I’d ever call anybody else as this is my second experience with Thir and repair is always the first option if available.

AC was making noises and then stopped blowing out cold air. Called Thir Heating and Cooling at 4 pm and Jay was there by 5pm. By 6:30pm, my AC was blowing out cold air again and my house began to cool down. We've been using Jay for furnace and AC repair and maintenance for several years now. He's trustworthy, responds quickly when called and has fair prices.
