Professional, competent and timely. I have used South Hills Electric for a variety of services including electrical, HVAC and Hot Water System. They communicate well and are very reliable.

Today, they performed an annual safety check of my A/C system. Jake did a great job. Was quick and efficient and thorough.

South Hills Electric has been our go to co. for all of our heating/cooling and electric needs. We have been using them for many years and even use them for an investment property. They are always pleasant to deal with and professional.

The technician was excellent. Professional, efficient, and thorough. The scheduling was quick and easy. Have to give this 2 stars because of the rates. $525 to install a junction box, wire, and a new outlet in an open space (no wire fishing) and less than 10’ distance. I priced the cost of materials - less than $30. Yet they charged $150 for “installing” (no conduit or fishing required) 10ft of wire. $100 for installing a junction box, and $150 to install a surface mount receptacle. All this on top of the $129 trip charge. This was a very simple job; less than 2 hours in and out. I expected to pay between $250 and $300. I was so shocked that I called to see if there was a mistake, they assured me that there were no mistakes.
It is a shame because the service was great, but the prices for this simple work tell me I can’t afford to go back to them for future or more complex jobs.

I recently purchased a home and had to get a home inspection done, they said everything was fine. I then had to get a Boro inspection done and they flagged numerous things with my electrical AFTER closing on the house. At this point I was in complete panic mode trying to figure out how I was going to afford to get this done. I reached out to South Hills Electric and I will never use another company! Jacob, Stephon and Dalton came out in the RAIN AND COLD on a Saturday and were still able to get done everything so that my panel would pass the inspection. They said they would be there at 8am, and pulled in my driveway at 7:59am. Very professional and explained everything to me throughly. I couldn't recommend South Hills Electric, more!!!

3 months after I purchased my house, our furnace went out. I called around to other places, nothing reasonable or same day service.

Stephon was very professional with the installation of my bathroom fan vent. He had to drill into the outside of the house to put in the new fan vent. He installed all of the duct work and made sure it all functioned properly.
