The worst Company I have ever worked for. The sales team, and office personal are the worst people I have come across in my entire career. This company doesn't care about their costumer nor their employees. The sales team is the most unethical, unprofessional, narcissistic, and racist personal. The environment in the office is very hostile, unfriendly, uncomfortable and discriminatory. The pay is way below average in the industry, false compensation promises, no training, and salary freeze for 2 years with a very minimum raise after the 2 year. The HR Manager is obnoxious, hypocrite, narcissist person, who tries to be your friend and then stabs people in the back. Overall was a very awful experience, I am just very glad to be out from this Garbage Company. I would not recommend anyone to work for these people, even if you were my worst enemy.

Worst company/distributor ever. They only warranty their products for 1 year and their equipment listed on website is a 6 week lead time! LMAO. Who is going to wait that long for a fan coil. Every First Company unit we find, we recommend replacing it with Goodman instead - just a tip.

worked here for 6 months in paint and insulation. The static equipment was broken and took MONTHS to get anyone in there to look at it. Door machine that folds and crimps the Door Frames for the units broke down EVERY NIGHT and they refused to get a professional in there to fix it. When i went to Grove Staffing they told me that i would not be made to work overtime i did not want, they said that i would have my weekend if i wanted it, and that i could never be fired for saying "No". The HR Manager, Hernando or whatever the his name is, Told me the exact same thing during the initial interview. Well, come to find out, i was made to work EVERY Saturday and then made to work 10+ hours a day (which they made Mandatory by contract after i quit) with no say in the matter. to make things worse they stuck me in the paint room at this point without a raise from $9 to $12 like i was promised by the lead man and supervisor, WITH NO PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR TWO MONTHS. NO PAINT COAT, NO RESPIRATOR, AND NO PAINT GLOVES. Every time i would complain to my Lead Man id get nowhere so i started griping at my Supervisor and was threatened with my job, which i needed it at the time. Majority of Spanish speakers here ONLY speak Spanish. even some of the managers and lead men can barely speak English if any at all. All that being said, the only good thing about the place, SOMETIMES, was the English speakers who were usually cool AF. (white, black, mexican just good english speakers in general)

Management favors the lazy workers over the hard workers. They have the worst supervisors/leads. Worst of them all is DERRICK GURLEY, he doesn't like to respect others and never helps around even though other supervisors and leads help out here and there. They try to over work you more than what they pay you. Besides that they have a great company, great atmosphere and great environment............ Unless you have to talk/deal with derrick gurley

This Is the worst company worst unit I have ever seen. Carrier is a distributor for this product and I have complained to the local sales rep about the time that it takes to get one of these units (2 months) you can't get anybody on the phone they don't respond to the manufacturer's sales rep In a timely manner the unit I got after waiting almost 2 months to get look like somebody beat it with a hammer and had rust oxidation I put another one of these in for the same apartment complex And not even 2 years in the evap motor went out which then took a week to get And after all that the unit only comes with a one year warranty so then I had to explain to the homeowner that after just under 2 years that a unit that they spent a lot of money on has only a 1 year warranty and that It'll be an additional 5 to $600 just for the part ...If I Could get a top administrator or someone that had any sense on how to run a business to answer the phone or respond I would love to give these people an ear full at how crappy their product is and how poorly this business is ran ...its Really bad when the actual sales rep for Carrier in the local supply house complains at how terrible these people are...There's really no other options for this particular application in this apartment complex Or in general if You have to order this type of unit Prepare to go through the worst HVAC experience of your life dealing with this company !!

I have an air handler made by this company. It broke down after a power failure. I had to wait two weeks for a replacement motor and had to endure a heat wave without AC. What if it was winter and I had no heat? They put the most high priced motor in this air handler. They also knew it had problems if a power failure occurred. The unit should be equipped with a surge protector and they are aware of it. In fact, the technician who repaired my air handler, told me they now make one. I wrote the company a letter about the cost of the repair looking for some compensation and a surge protector so this will not happen again. It cost me $1,680 to repair the air handler. The motor was $1,200. That's crazy. I received no response from this company. I gave them a month to respond. It's an OCM motor. Do not ever purchase an air handler with that motor!!!!

They will drive you insane if you report any harassment or disrespectful employee who is among their favorites. I was going to try to at least make it to my third month but ended up having an anxiety attack when I learned how things were run there. NOBODY CARES!

Been in the HVAC business for 27 Year and First Company has alway been subpar in quality and design. On top on that to get replace equipment and parts there is often a 6-8 week wait which no customer wants to hear we there cooling and heating isn't working. Nothing ever seems to ship on time. But we you are the only one that builds it you don't have to care.

Do NOT purchase an AC unit from this company. I live in a townhouse community with about 30 total homes. More than half of our neighbors have failed units. Our upstairs unit just went out. It's only about two years old. I realize that every brand will experience a failure, but over 50% failure rate after just a few years is unusual. The biggest problem is most of the HVAC service companies do not want to service this brand. When you find a company that will, it takes weeks to get parts.
