I’ve been a member with Rescue Air for a couple of years now. I first came across them because they came highly recommended and they have a great membership program that looked as if it would work well for my needs at the time. Not only did the Rescue Air team live up to the reviews when it comes to best-in-class service but they also exceeded my expectations on the installation side as well (more on that below)!
I had units that were each 13+ years old and each time that a tech came by, they gave me a great professional opinion on the status and a few cost options for moving forward (thanks Alan, Dean, Jordan, and Jeff). While replacing the units was presented as an option, I was never pressured into getting new units and the membership has paid for itself with the advice and support—especially with the addition of the plumbing services (thanks again Connor for the great advice and for resolving my garbage disposal issues).
I applied my mantra of ‘maximizing value’ and let the units limp along until one didn’t heat very well in the winter and the other was no where near the set point in these TX late-spring and summer scorchers! I gave up stalling and finally decided to move forward with new units and the tech who walked me through the process (thank you Joe) was again very professional and gave me the options I wanted to see to make an informed decision.
When came time to install, which was only a day after the consultation, Alex, Adolfo, and Julio came by to do the job. Their attention to detail, consultative approach, and general concern for what would work both functionally and aesthetically for the house was top notch! I can’t recommend Rescue Air enough—these 5 stars were earned over time and with consistent quality of service. Keep up the top tier work Rescue Air!
I have been using Rescue Air for many years. I used to feel like a valued customer. There was a misdiagnosed issue with my AC. I got a second opinion and found out I only needed a $150 fix...under warranty vs a $8000+ new system. In the meantime...I'd spent a lot of money with them on a compressor saver, a blown fuse, etc over the last year. The reason my system was running so loud and hard was because the capacitor was dead and apparently no one with Rescue Air ever checked that. There is also lost money on high electric bills and long term damage to my compressor.
I reached out to Rescue Air so that I could discuss what happened with a supervisor. I was promised someone would get back with me after they reviewed my account. That was 3 weeks ago and no one has contacted me. I paid money to this company every month for over 5 years. I really thought they were a respectable company. I also spent many thousands of dollars getting upgrades they recommend. I am beyond disappointed.
In addition, after troubleshooting my system they didn't replace caps they removed which I've been told can cause coolant leaks. Again, so disappointed.
6/1/2023 - After posting my review Rescue Air responded saying their management team would reach out to me. That was 6 days ago...still no management response.
This was my first time using Rescue Air and Plumbing. Cameron was such a delight to have in our home and his expertise was appreciated. Our plumbing issues were fixed within a hour. I will definitely call on them again for future needs. Glad to have found a reliable and knowledgeable company!
Overall, RA&P was great. The tech, Roman, was timely and helpful in explaining what the issue was with my unit. I only had one issue, albeit a somewhat minor one. I was at work while my SO was at home. When I asked her what work he was suggesting, she responded that he had already repaired. I asked her if he had told her what he was going to do or what the estimate was, to which she replied that he hadn't communicated that. I can understand that this is may be a "normal" business practice for a company, but in my many years of experience having contractors over to fix/replace things, no work has ever bene initiated without me giving the green light. The second part to this was that he installed a piece that was not essential for getting the unit up and running. He they always install both together, but he also said (after I asked) that the second piece is more additional. That piece was roughly 30% of the bill. Again, The main issue is with up-front transparency. The unit is working fine now.
Fast reliable and convenient, I only called this morning after the a/c wasn't cooling well. I thought it would be a 2 week wait. Wow. Stopped in tonight. Can u believe it. 30 minutes later I am on the sofa cool again. Price was a great surprise. Now I can keep my plans on our anniversary this weekend. Thanks Andrew Peterson. Great service.
I recommend contacting Rescue Air if you find yourself in need. While others I called were making appointments 5 days out, Rescue Air sent Roman within 1 hour! Roman arrived on time, was professional, very thorough, clear and concise in his explanation of the issues and my options. He was honest and great to work with.
Roman with Rescue Air was very helpful in walking me through the repairs he made. He explained things each step of the way and answered my questions. He was professional, punctual, and communicated well. He left my A/C in working condition!
I am so happy with the service from Roman and the Rescue Air team! Roman was on time, so kind, and so professional during my service. He showed me what he was doing as he performed the work which put me at ease. I’m a first time homeowner and am always nervous to make service calls not knowing what to expect but Roman made things very easy. I will definitely be using Rescue Air when my older unit needs replacing in a few years.
I called to see if someone could come out and review the problem and Roman was able to show up the same day. I was very impressed with how professional, efficient, and polite Roman was, and how fast he came to our house.
Roman did a great job giving us an evaluation on the issue and options to correct the problem. He provided several options and explained the differences and benefits of each type. Roman was one of the better customer experiences we had in a while. Frank M.
Roman was really helpful in educating me on what was going with our unit. He came out on Saturday and was timely because he knew we have a baby who needs to be cool! I really appreciated his attention to detail and looking out for us!

P.S. we’re already loving these new systems!
