    Greg came over to do a scheduled routine checkup.
    He found evidence of a little freon leak, showed it to me,
    and explained the situation until I fully understood.
    During the process we had time to talk.
    It was during this conversation that I developed a feeling
    that I could trust him and what he was saying.
    Nobody wants to hear bad news.
    But if it is explained honestly and every word makes sense,
    then if or when something serious develops,
    you already know what to expect and why.
    I believe he told me the truth.
    I trust him, and trust will let me sleep well tonight.

    They came out for a regular service call in May 2022, but didn’t complete the job as they said they needed to get filters and belts. 2 weeks pass and they call to collect the bill at which time I state that they hadn’t finished the job yet. The manager Julie was very rude and pushy saying I could pay now which I reiterated the work was not complete and they hadn’t returned in 2 weeks so far to finish the work. Another 2 weeks go by and I had to call multiple times to get them to come out and finish the work. So for a basic service check up it took over 4 weeks to complete the work which is normally done in 1-2 hours max.

    Awful customer service and communication from this company. It was like pulling teeth to get them to finish the original work. I would not recommend them.

    Got here same day but charged me 294 bucks for a capacitor that sells for 25 bucks on Amazon(I asked for the faulty part upon replacement). Plus the additional 89 dollar service call. It is late July in Texas but still....294 bucks for a 25 dollar part plus the service call? I didn't even call this company. They came in place of Raffertee AC. That's who I called. I understand pooled resources and quick responses but jeez.....

    So, our office building is serviced by Ratterree- as that is who the landlord uses. I can say that I am THOROUGHLY impressed with the service Mike & his guys give. We had a few problems with our system due to its age and Mike was on top of it every time with excellent communications. While I should have written this review sooner commending him, todays random call just to check on us personally by Mike made me think this was the time to let everyone know what a great job they do.

    If you need a company that won't leave you hanging, I suggest you call Mike and his team.

    Amazing service! Had a control board fail on a furnace and they were available to come out same day over the weekend. Communicated well and were well within the 1hr window provided for the appt. Their customer service has already given me the confidence as a long term customer. The tech was courteous and offered many solutions none of which were pressured sales pitches.

    After a long battle with the pump of my mini split ductless air conditioner which was always malfunctioning, Greg and Alex came to the rescue with a new solution which seems to have done the trick. Turns out it was installed improperly (by another company) and the tiny pump inside was fighting against gravity to rid the unit of the condensation which would pool up and spill out of the unit itself because the pump couldn’t keep up with the high humidity here in recent Texas summers...! Greg and Alex ended up drilling a hole in the wall where the condensation could drip out bypassing the pump itself. I’m grateful to them for their courteous service, a reasonable price to fix it and I would recommend this company, and especially these two knowledgeable technicians to others who may have a mini split which not everyone knows how to install or to even work on! Thanks Greg and Alex!

    I'd used Ratterree for years, on a referral from a former boss. The work appeared to have been done in an honest manner-and generally for reasonable and customary rates, except for one time during summer where they gouged me for a fan. Having said that, they have spring "tune up" specials that they send out that include a few services-including some freon with the offer. I scheduled one. Tech shows up, advised me my freon is old-and not the type included in the offer. He didn't do any of the other items on the offer despite my mentioning the filters a few times and didn't do any drain service as I've had other companies do on a tune-up. Instead he goes out, tells me I'm probably 5-6 lbs low on freon, and...oh, by the way-it's $100 a lb from them. He also advises me now that I have to pay about 2x for the offer as i have two compressors. I called another provider and he tells me he can do it for 20-30% less. Problem: I can go with the other provider but now I still have to pay the ratterree guy $140 for stopping by, telling me they will roast me on price (at 13 times the purchase cost of the freon-13 TIMES the price!!). So I would save less at that point. In retrospect, I should have told Ratterree guy to leave and take my chances. I didn't, and had a MASSIVE bill for tune-up. Shame on you, Ratterree for becoming part of the low-life A/C rip-off providers. I'll never use you again, and have even considered starting my own A/C company to provide ethical and reasonable service.

    Erick Diaz was an exemplary technician and honest. Made me look like a fool when he flipped the breaker and the AC kicked on. Checked for any damages and made sure everything checked out. Awesome technician and service

    Great customer service and super friendly techs. They came out new years Eve when we had a heater problem come up that day and a party that night. They got us all toasty again and recommended a fix for us to prevent future issues. Would recommend for sure.
