My Mom called Alco Air our to her house to do a system checkup. Her system was running fine. The Alco technician told her she needed a new system and he gave her their prices for a new system. She asked me what she should do and I called Doug at Jack’s to see if he could send out one of his technicians to check her system. Jack’s technician checked everything and said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the system. And he retapped the duct work at the blower that the Alco technician had left undone after he took it apart. He asked us what the quote was from Alco for a new system and then laughed when my Mom showed it to him. He showed us Jack’s cost to install a new system and it was half what Alco quoted. But he said her system was perfectly fine and certainly did not need to be replaced. Glad to know there is an honest A/C company in Longview and Jack’s will always get our business!!!

They always do a great job! They answer the phone friendly, and have always come the same day I call (so important with TX heat when your air is out). The technician's are always professional and friendly, never trying to replace or sell something not needed. Very happy customer!

Picture it: July. Texas. And no air conditioning. It's like a slow burn horror movie. Worse, I've got a weird old unit that has hard-to-find parts and won't work with cheap generic parts to literally save its life. But, Jack's managed to get it working, even in my million degree attic, and saved me money, because if I'd attempted it, I would have gotten heat stroke and fallen through my own ceiling. They worked fast, got it installed, and left me cool as a cucumber. No horror movie for me!

They did not come, they were booked up

My friend's unit 115 psi charge on the unit, she had to call another company because Jack does not make after hours house calls. Her father is dying and the house is 85 degrees. I know that this is wrong.

Beware!! Their website states "Free Estimates" but they will charge you! They charged $85 for coming out for 5 minutes to say, "We can't fix it." They could have stated that over the phone had they asked any questions about the problem before coming out to the house.

Jack's a/c and heating has helped me on several projects ,they have done so in a timely Manor , I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace a unit or service an existing one ,great group of people !
