We had our entire Heating and A/C system replaced in December. Drew came to our home and talked us through our options and costs and offered a very fair price with some added discounts. After approving the purchase, Performance came to our home and in a single day completely replaced our old system with a new Trane system. Except for a minor cleanup issue (which was resolved quickly and to our complete satisfaction) we having been using our new system without problems. We are pleased that we chose to have Performance do this work.

Absolutely worst company to deal with! They installed the unit on our house 2.5 years ago and when we called them back for service work on the unit the lady was so professional that she laughed at us on the phone about service work. The Performance team responded very quickly to my initial ask for estimate, and they gave me a very reasonable quote for both my downstairs and upstairs systems. They had my new systems installed less than a week later. Very pleased with everyone I worked with.

My heat pump system was on it's last leg after almost 15 years. I was researching Trane systems online and came across Performance Heat and Air, Inc. Wow, what a super great experience I had. Our 22-year-old AC/heat pump system died in the middle of the July/August 2022 heat, with outdoor temps consistently above 100 degrees.

I found Performance Heat and Air on The Good Contractors List, visited their web site, and made a call. The service technician, Chris, arrived the same day, found that the AC compressor was dead, inspected the air handler unit, and suggested that due to the system's age and inefficiency, we should consider replacing the system. There was no pressure, no sales pitch; he contacted his office, and despite the fact it was well after 5 p.m., they returned his call and said their consultant would be out the following day between 1-3 p.m.

Drew called the following morning and actually arrived ahead of schedule. He was very helpful, providing information on different systems, costs, and rebates; and after some paperwork, he was able to schedule installation to begin between 6:45-7:45 a.m. the next day.

The installers arrived on time, were friendly, professional and courteous, took time to explain the programmable smart thermostat, and checked the vents in each room once the system was up and running. An inspector from the company arrived to check their work when it was near completion. In all, installation took about five hours, and the house was cool again within an hour.

For most of us, major purchases — a car, a home system, a home repair — usually come with apprehensions about price, quality, and value. Performance Heat and Air made this a very good experience — I'm confident we picked the right company and made a good purchase.
