I recently purchased a pressure washer hose online at Northern Tool, used my gift card and a free shipping coupon code and received a great price. Then I received my credit card statement and good ole' NORTHERN TOOL CHARGED ME MORE ON MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT THAN WHAT I AGREED TO PURCHASE THE ITEM FOR ONLINE !!!!! I called customer service and told them they were in violation of the DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES ACT and FEDERAL TRADE COMISSION laws. I have copies of both my computer screen from my online purchase and also my email confirmation showing the lower price that I agreed to pay for the item. SEE YOU IN COURT NORTHERN TOOL!!!!! Since I am over the age of 65, the violation carries a mandatory $250,000 fine. They are trying to bilk a senior citizen!

I came to grab a few things. The store staff is always friendly and went out of their way to accommodate. It was clean and well stocked. This is my home store and I highly recommend shopping here.

Came here after my trailer axle took a dump. Not knowing too much (if anything about it at all) about trailers and the axles, all I knew is I needed a 3500# axle. Freddy helped me with how to determine my axle needs and parts. He even suggested getting the whole thing online so I don't have to fumble with getting matching hubs and bearings and all other stuff. Thank you Freddy and I think I'll be here more often now.

Bought a Remington Pole Pruner 2 weeks ago. Wasn't that impressed with the power or the cut. I trimmed 2 crepe myrtles. After that I decided I would rather buy a better quality one. So I drained the gas/oil and cleaned it up then boxed it up with everything in perfect condition just as I bought it. I walked in with the box and receipt and the cashier stares at me and the box.....I told her I'd like to return this. She asked "why?" In a not so nice way. I said it doesn't have enough power and and the chain doesn't have a clean cut. She calls a manager, he comes over, same conversation. He's not the friendliest guy either and looks around in the box and said "did you use it" I said of course.....I trimmed 2 crepes, it's not powerful and would like to return it. He says fine, but there is a 20% re-stocking fee because I can't sell this as new. So I asked, how am I suppose to know if I like the product unless I try it out? He didn't answer me. I received my refund -20% re-stocking fee. Their website states a 15% fee. AND Gas and diesel-powered products cannot be returned to Northern once they have been gassed or oiled. If they have been gassed or oiled they need to be taken to an authorized service center for repair which may be covered under warranty. So make sure you want it before you buy it because you will be stuck with it.

Took my chainsaw in for repair. Kept it from November to February. I was never notified that it was ready until I called. Went to pick it up and saw WAS NOT repaired at all even though they told me it was ready to go. Had I not opened the case to look at it when I was checking out I would have paid well over $100 for nothing. Manager was rude and acted like it was my fault they didnt do THEIR job.
Would not recommend...trash customer service

Ordered an ALC sandblasting pot in an emergency as my other pressure pot was broken, not only did Paul get it delivered to me but got it too me quickly had it within 3 hrs or ordering it!

Way impressed with the service here. Although they didn't have the item I was looking for, in stock, Paul took the extra time to find locations that did have what I needed. And a positive attitude at that!

Walked into great costumer service. Was offered help to find an item and found it. When at the register the price was much higher than what was being shown in aisle. Turned out that everything in that aisle was not in its correct location. Manager Mike went to the back to check the price and move the items and when he returned he did not acknowledge me. His cashier had to remind him of the customer and he said he would not mark the price down. If you’re not going to acknowledge your customers after your mistake then they will gladly pay a higher price else where.
