Our AC went out on a Thursday afternoon. Friday morning, we contacted Blue Star and a service tech, Justin, came out to assess the problem and informed us of our options (which were grim). When we tried to set up a same-day appointment to have our system replaced, they had already become booked.
So this company, with decidedly AMAZING customer service, decided to foot the bill for us to have Freon over the weekend until they could get out on Tuesday to replace it. They arrived a little early on Tuesday morning - a plus when you’re racing against the heat of the day! We’d been told it would be a 6-8 hour job - they were out in less than 5. Those guys have a rough job but they went to it with a will.
They left our attic looking more orderly than when they arrived. Everyone was polite and efficient. When we had some trouble getting the bank to approve the payment amount, Kim at the office was very kind and patient in helping me get it worked out. Overall, I’m very happy that we went with this company and I will definitely remember them for all our AC/heating needs. ❤️
This company is AMAZING... right up until they're paid. They told us when we were looking to replace our HVAC that they would get the proper permits for us. They came in and promptly installed said unit. They installed new wifi thermostats and were professional.
10 months later we get a call saying the city is going to send out an inspector to look at the install. Took the day off, no one ever showed. We called around to find out they only just started the permit process a couple days before they told us the inspector would be out, and it was NEVER completed!
Another month goes by and finally we have an inspection and several things are wrong. We called to have them come back out and fix it and we are being hung up on or can never get through their automated system. Finally we get through and they'll be here between "2-4pm". Surprise surprise no one ever shows. Called customer service again and either hung up on or left on hold listening to a robot tell us how important we are to them and they look forward to assisting us. 🙄
Don't use this company. I've had better customer service at the DMV!!!
Worst experience ever. Purchased duct cleaning when i had my unit replaced back in October. Scheduled the duct cleaning service and technicians have yet to arrive. Three no shows! Called the office to speak with management and they have forwarded all my calls. Not the type of service i would expect from such a large company.
We were so happy to see Josh arriving well in time for our appointment. Also that he was very attentive in respecting our premises and very tidy in his personal appearance.
Josh was very thorough in his research in determining our air conditioner's problem. He explained the issue and gave us options to resolve it.
The professionalism and knowledge he displayed gave us confidence in his abilities.

We got a call from the tech less than 10 minutes later and he was here within 30 minutes! Once Daniel arrived he was very kind and very helpful. We felt we were being well taken care of and that he truly wanted to help us. We signed up for maintenance plan because I trusted Daniel! (And if was a great deal!) And I could trust that if we had any issues they’d be here right away just like they were this time. I will recommend blue star to family and friends and look forward to using them for all of our future needs!
I have been using Blue Star for just under a year. I have their maintenance package which they come out twice a year. And when Blue Star comes out, they actually perform maintenance! A novel concept. They will spend round 90 - 120 minutes each time, meticulously going through my systems to make sure they work at their peek performance. The other company that came out I paid the same amount for their maintenance package and they may have spent a total of 30 minutes. All they did was "check" to make sure everything was running at that point. Well....
Last year they installed a new coil. That coil went out and was only warranted for 1yr and of course the warranty period passed. Blue Star came out and offered me three different options. I chose to have the entire system that went out replaced. Ouch!? Well, if I had them 2 years ago and was given good professional advice, the money I spent with the other company would have paid for the new system. They do fantastic work and they back their work. Thank you Blue Star. I have been nothing but impressed with the work you do and quality of your workmanship. Thank You!
Justin did a fantastic job. He was kind, helpful, and efficient. He explained everything really well, and left additional product information after the repair was done. The entire experience was smooth. Savannah was really helpful when I called in the morning, and within a couple of hours Justin was at our house assessing the problem. He was able to get all of the parts and complete multiple repairs by the afternoon. I will use Blue Star again, and recommend them to anyone!
The ac maintenance employee, Kevin, arrived promptly. He was polite and quite knowledgeable. He seemed to have a genuine vested interest in making sure that I as his customer was more than just satisfied with his (and therefore the representative of his company) service. Which, I indeed was. It is not often to meet service reps with the attitude and goal of exceeding your expectations. Kevin does this. It is obvious to me that he was treating me like he treats all of his other customers. He is an asset to your company. He is the best billboard your company can invest in.

His customer service skills are exceptional. He made certain the issue was properly diagnosed, I understood why the system wasn't working the way it should, and what the resolution needed to be. I had a faulty gas regulator that shutting my system off and keeping it from heating. Daniel explained the details, cost, and the maintenance plan and its benefits. I decided to sign up for the maintenance plan and saved 20% on the spot. Blue Star will then come out twice a year and perform preventative maintenance and inspect the entire system. Signing up for this at the time of the repair paid for itself. Daniel made the repairs a couple of days ago and everything has been working as it should. He even called me this morning to follow-up. I recommend Blue Star, and if you are lucky enough to have Daniel as your technician, even better. His Customer Service is better than anyone I have ever met, in any industry! Thank You

The other companies couldn't get to us until two or three days later. There was one company who was going to charge us $250 when they walked through the door because it was after hours so that was an easy NO.
The great service started with the operator who took my information and got us set up. She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and really put us at ease. That great service continued when the technician Daniel arrived. He was knowledge and friendly and got us repaired quickly. We also feel the pricing was fair and reasonable and didn't get an impression of being taken advantage of.
We will be continuing our business with blue star and highly recommend them!
