They came quickly. Told us we need a new compressor. They couldn't get a hold of finance and said would call us the next day. We called for a follow-up and was told that they are still waiting and that they would get an update by the afternoon. We called back around 5:30pm and the office said that they didn't know anything about our situation.
The guy that came over was really nice. He left us feeling like he would take care of us. We were surprised when we called and the office said that they didn't know. It's unfortunate because everything was going well until that point.
Looking at all the 5 star reviews, i'm wondering what happened here with us.
I had my motor give out... in July... in Texas. Was not a fun experience. The AC motor in the attic sounded as if a really old washing machine was bouncing around, and it was even shaking the house. I contacted FLO RITE and they came the very next day. Our technician, Roberto, was very knowledgeable and quick. He explained to me that my motor sat on three prongs. One had snapped, and this is what was causing the thunderous sounds coming from the attic. Due to motor rattling all over the place, the squirrel cage was also damaged. I wouldn’t have known any of this if not for Roberto. He promptly fixed it and effectively saved my life because working from home with no AC... in July... in Texas... was literally killing me. FLO RITE’s professionalism and promptness is definitely what were needed during a time of crisis. They have gained a customer for life.
5-stars, not a doubt about it. My technician, John De La Rosa was one of the best I've dealt with. Knew the right way to explain to me and took the time to help me understand if a part was worn or about to fail. Excellent customer skills and helped with understanding everything that he was doing. He graciously helped with the filter installation as I was not able to climb a ladder into the attic. An impressive young man.
Best service to date!!! My A/C went out. My warranty company assigned another company. The company they assigned did not call me back, I called them and they said they couldn't come for 2 days. It was 90 degrees upstairs and unbearable. I called the warranty company and they reassigned flo-rite. They came out same day!!! They called as they were running abbot behind. They were courteous and professional. They got me up and running in a short time and then followed up 48 hours later ton make sure everything was good to go. I highly recommend them to anybody!!!
I think giving reviews is very important, it’s really the only way companies can be held to account. I’m also extremely wary of companies that offer $20 for a positive google review!!
I had your technician come round to my house last week. He did a very basic check, I had to ask him to check the gas pressure, I could tell he really didn’t want to. He told me my coil needed to be replaced as it was dirty. Yes my coil was dirty, but it turned out not to be the problem. I received a quote for around $3000.00 to replace my coil !! And another quote for $5365.00 to replace the whole inside unit (air handler). The funny thing was he told be he could tell it was the coil by holding the pipes outside, the ones that connect my outside unit to the house!
Today I had a trusted HAVC tech come out and he said I had a leak, and my freon levels were low. Turned out to be the issue all along.
I hope my review helps the single mother, the grandmother or woman living alone, who simply can’t afford to lose good money

The owner and fellow veteran, Frank, and his Senior HVAC Analyst, John, were great to work with throughout every step of the process. My new 16 Seer Trane system has been installed by the best team I've experienced in many years. They were very meticulous and wanted to make sure that I received first class service. They also went above and beyond to repair and seal some improper ductwork that I had paid another company to do previously. This is a company that you can rely on and TRUST to do the right thing. Frank and his team did an excellent job replacing my worn out ducting. The ductwork they installed allows better airflow throughout my house and the A/C does not need to run as long. They quoted me a fair price and completed the work on time, they even cleaned up the mess when finished. I highly recommend FLO-RITE.
