Taurus Mechanical replaced my 20+ year old A/C condenser and furnace in a professional, responsive way. The system they installed was highly ranked and represented a great value. I highly recommend Taurus for any A/C or heating issues you have. They had previously installed two Nest thermostats, also at a fair price.

Shout out to Taurus Mechanical for their quick response getting to my house to get my AC going again. My thermostat went out on Mother’s Day morning, so my AC didn’t work.😬 Thermostat was old and quit working but they were at my house Monday morning and quickly replaced it. Great service and prices! I used Taurus one time to fix my heater and their price was reasonable, so I decided to use them second time. However trust doesn’t last long! Second time I feel completely ripped off. I was charged $1152 to replacing a motor which costs around $400 online. I will not use them again and I would not recommend their business to anyone either.

I have used Taurus several times and have invariably dealt with two people---the owner John and his associate, Robert. They are both exceptional. Courteous, responsive, honest and really good at what they do. After trying many HVAC people, they have become my go-to simply because they are extremely honest and this is something I have had trouble with a few others I have dealt with. I usually don't write reviews but a recent incident has prompted me to post something. On Christmas eve, the coldest day in Houston, my elderly parents heating "broke down". We were very concerned if someone will come on Christmas eve. Not only were Taurus extremely responsive, they assured me that despite the large number of calls they plan to leave no one without heat. As promised, they (Robert in this case) arrived on time. It turned out to be a very minor issue so was resolved within a minute. Since it was so minor they refused payment (--in fact, I had to insist on giving them something). I have used them both for my house as well as my parents. I strongly recommend them!

Our AC was out. We called John, and he came out within just a few hours and had the problem fixed very quickly. Courteous and honest service, which was also our experience several years prior.

They blew us away with their honesty. Our first quote from Abacus was $25,000.
Taurus fixed it for under $200.

What a fantastic business!!! It was highly recommended to me by an extraordinarily professional auto repair service owner who services my car, and Taurus Mechanical, Inc. really did an incredible job for me. They perfectly determined the best economical way to fix my heater system, and they were extremely fair with everything. John took my call and exhibited a great mastery of his profession. And Kevin did an absolute outstanding job of repairing my heater.

Other companies were telling me all kinds of details that were either completely untrue and/or very suspicious (including a highly awarded Houston company,) and one of their techs that checked out my heater was totally off base with his final analysis!! Naturally, he recommended the most unnecessary and expensive course of action to resolve my heater problem!!!

I say buyer beware everywhere about everything!!! It's the ultra-unfortunate way of this world!!! But this company is really truly outstanding!!!

I have use Taurus before over the years for maintenance and other minor repair work. So when it is time to replace both furnaces, I ask John to provide quotes.

Received a very reasonable price so I went with Taurus. John and his crew show up on time and were able to get it done within the same week I sign the proposal. They were in and out in less than half a day and keep everything clean and neat inside the house. John test the system and gave instructions on using it.

All and all, I am very happy with Taurus's work and highly recommended for their professional work, reasonable prices, and timely services.
