    I just bought my house last year and got my first Air conditioning installed today by AVS heating and air conditioning. The customer service call was very friendly and smooth. They worked very nicely and were fast. They were very professional and courteous.

    Anil from AVS serviced my home. When I called a different heating and cooling company yesterday they didn't fix the problem. After 2 days of indoor temperature standing at 43 degrees, AVS fit me in and triple checked for the problem only to find out the company from yesterday put the wrong thermostat in. I am so thankful for their prompt service( not having me wait until the end of the 3 hour window) and communicative and friendly behavior. My house is warm now and me and my pets don't have to freeze together.

    So, I woke up on the morning of the 29th of June with my ceiling leaking and one ceiling tiles about to fall in with water. After cleaning up, moving stuff out of the way, and putting down buckets I called the plumbers I normally use. They were booked till the middle of July. So I called AVS first thing in the morning of the 1st of July. They promised to be at my unit between Noon and 3 PM.
    Around 8 PM I got a call from them. Saying, something, something, appointments had been pushed back, they tried to call me, did I still want them to visit? I said yes and two of their techs showed up.
    They examined the air handler in the ceiling, cleaned it, unclogged the drainage pipe, and tray.
    And it still leaked. They said it was backflow from the vertical pipe that the drainage pipe was attached to. They even ripped open a wall to try to find the pipe - which turned out not to be there. They did ask permission before opening the hole and the wall was already one I was planning having work done on as it was mess anyway.
    Then they asked if they could rip open more of my walls, the ones in my kitchen, and I refused. At this point my trust in them was waning.
    They wanted access to the ‘mechanical room’ which was under my condo. Being that it was around 9 PM at that point there was no way they were going to get access to it. IF they had shown up earlier they could have gotten permission from management.
    The Good - they did what they said they would do, they stuck to the price they quoted, and were polite.
    The Bad - they didn’t wear masks, they didn’t put down anything to protect the floor or carpet from all the water and dust, and they didn’t clean up afterwards. I have a hole in my wall which was not needed and my air handler was still dripping water In my hallway after they left..
    Management called in their own people on the 2nd of July. They came to my unit, they found the vertical pipe, cleared it, covered the small hole they made in my wall (which was hidden by my washing unit), cleaned up the mess they made and the mess AVS had made, they put down plastic and wore masks. Management is also of the opinion that all AVS did was transfer the clog in my drainage pipe to the building’s vertical pipe. I can't suggest their service at this point.
