Yesterday afternoon I discovered that I had no hot water! I called McCarthy Services, who installed my HVAC system in 2021, and they had a technician at my house within 3 hours! My water heater was on its last legs after 15 years, so we decided to replace it. Our technician Guido arrived this morning with a new State ProLine Water Heater. I have an older house with a small, cramped furnace room that is not easy to navigate, but in a few hours I was back in business with hot water again!
I’m quite pleased with the quick response time. Guido was professional, pleasant, and thorough. He did a great job of explaining the features and his reasoning for unit we chose, and gave me a good overview of how it works and what I need to do to maintain it for optimal performance. He cleaned up afterward and hauled the old unit away. I’ve always had a good experience with McCarthy and highly recommend them. Great job! Thanks!!

I would/will highly recommend “McCarthy Services”. They squeezed me in even though the Technicians last service call was 2 hours away.
The Technician (Luc Charbonneau) was excellent. He kept me informed of what he was checking the entire time.
I’m not sure another technician would have found the problem.
A spider (lol) had shorted out a capacitor inside the AV UNIT.
He cleaned the AC UNIT as well.
I could go on and on- but, in short, I am more than pleased with my experience with your company.

Service with McCarthy was great. Though they did miss my first scheduled estimate time, they made up for it with a credit and by sending Brian. Brian walked me through everything and made sure I was getting the best price. The next day, Chris and Rob arrived early to work on the 6 hour installation. They walked me through my new system before leaving. All was smooth and now looks great. Great quality work. Thank you.

The service from Angel was 5 star. He was friendly, professional, and informative. He talked me through every step before doing any of the service. He also gave me tips to address future issues. If you ever need plumbing service from McCarthy, Angel is the guy. I felt that the value for the service was not great. I understand that I’m paying for the convenience but I felt that it was more than it should have been. I’ve paid for residential and commercial drain snaking in the past and it was less than I paid by a couple hundred dollars. I was in a position where I didn’t have time or tools to fix the issues myself so I was committed to the cost. At least Angel did a great job and I didn’t have to deal with poor service on top of the cost.

In response to our call, McCarthy Services sent a technician out within hours. He was personable, knowledgeable and considerate as he checked our two split systems and explained the problems and options to us. We decided to replace our system with a new system. The sales representative was sent out the next day to show us what they had for a replacement, no pressure at all from the sales rep., very nice, professional, knowledgeable about the products. I chose the system I wanted and they sent the installation team out the next day- THE NEXT DAY! The installation team was very professional, fixed some minor problems related to the previous system and did an excellant job installing my system.

I appreciated that I was able to get a plumber to my residence quickly. He was very nice and resolved my issue. The reason for a three star review is because I believe the price of the service (well over $400) , which took 30 min and minimal parts, was outrageous. I later got quotes for $140 and $185 for the same service from two other plumbers. Knowing these more reasonable prices makes me regret using McCarthy Services.

The process of the schedule for the installation of The AC was smooth, I just wished the installation would come sooner. Mr. David was a great guy who helped with the estimate, and thank you Mr. Rich for the financial process. Thank you McCarthy Services! Keep up the good work.

Both technicians assigned to help us are superb and company back office staff are equally responsive and responsible. Work completed is neat and clean.

Do obtain the county permit upfront. Forgot to do it but later on McCarthy quickly caught up and obtained it.

James was efficient and calm and friendly. He got right to work and was quickly able to give us a diagnosis on our AC. Then he contacted his office to see when someone could be by and give us an estimate. Very easy and quick. Thank you.

Very impressed with the two young men that came out today to check out our sump pump. They were both amazing! Very professional, knowledgeable, respectful and kind! They explained everything in detail to us what our options were moving forward and didn’t push anything on us as far as the repair. They got us in so quickly too! They could have came out the very same day I called but I chose the next day because of scheduling. Great company and we will definitely be using them moving forward!!
