Currently, I am waiting for the plumber to return to adjust the water pressure to maximize use of my new electric water heater.I am pleased with the installation but inconvenience is my major concern. the work satisfactorilyNotified company and assured me the plumber will be scheduled to resolve my issue.

This is truly the worst company around. I spent an unreasonable amount of money having them install a new furnace and ac in my house just over 1 year ago. They have been out to my house over 10 times since then because of poor install. I had mold in my house because they broke the exhaust pipes in the ceiling during install. I now have a gas leak and the technician said “ I don’t smell anything, you’re good “ and then tried to leave. The thermostat broke 6 months ago and even though I have a work order for a new one, the manager said “ I don’t see where there was one ordered. The thermostat randomly turns off, and thus leaving my family without either heat or ac for hours at a time. The initial install was so poor that it didn’t meet code. There was no automatic water shut off installed, there were “hot” wires just hanging out without caps. Just all kinds of scary, dangerous things. The outdoor unit came with 50% of the aluminum fins bent and dents all the way around. It appears they installed a factory 2nd or damaged it during install. A reputable company would have brought these things to my attention during install, but the installers just tried to hide it and say “ these things are delivered to us like this all the time and DO NOT have any affect on safety or efficiency.” Fast forward 14 months and I’ve had mold, an active gas leak and a system that just shuts off randomly. The system is the top of the line carrier system, so if I had to guess on the reason for all these unsafe issues, I’d bet on the install from McCarthy. Save yourself some hassle, and keep your family safe. Go with someone, anyone else. Update: if you have to/ already have gone with McCarthy, make sure you understand that their “guarantees” are just a sales gimmick, and they won’t actually honor it. The thermostat that took them 6 months to replace did not qualify for the 555 dollars for their 24 hour guarantee because they said it was outside one year. They were at my house within 8 months of install because of the issue, i have a work order for a new one to be ordered that same day, but they will just wait you out until the year is up, just so they don't have to pay. Its not my fault it took 6 months for them to order it. i see these same scam type comments throughout the other reviews, but just wish i would have read them before choosing to go with them.

GUIDO was very professional in explaining the prices and process of the plumbing services that i requested. He was very neat and organized. I truly recommend him for service. Job well done .

We had some Issues with our google nest power connection. The gentleman who arrived to assist was awesome! He was extremely professional and kind and went above and beyond during service.

Call made at 11:00 PM and no response/call back until 11:45 AM.
Told, technician would be here in 30 minutes. Technician was 40 minutes late.
Technician could not get into space where leak is occurring. Told, no one was available until Thursday (2 days). Absurd!
We can’t go 2 plus days without water!
NO TOILETS NO SHOWERS NO NOTHING, ETC.!!!

Sopheak has been the HVAC technician I have used for most of the last 10 years. He is knowledgeable and honest. He tells me what is wrong and what needs done without trying to sell me something I don't
need.

All techs from the HVAC installers to the service tech have been professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. Even the schedulers are nice and pleasant.

I just had my water heater replaced. Brian Langford was wonderful to work with. He explained the estimate for the replacement and various warranties available. Really friendly and knowledgeable guy.

David S replaced my unit and hauled away the old one - BY HIMSELF. Mind you, I have roughly 20 exterior basements steps! I don't know how he did it. But he did.

After installation was complete, he explained the unit, its various parts - water shut off, expansion tank, gas valve, etc. - in easily understandable language.

I've had great experiences with McCarthy's personnel. Hopefully, nothing else major needs to be replaced but if it does, I'll call McCarthy.

I like McCarthy so much I recommended them to a friend who recently used them to replace their HVAC unit.

We had an appointment and when the plumber came he said he didn’t have a tool he needed so it was rescheduled to a different day. We were supposed to have the 1st appointment of the rescheduled day. The plumber came at 11:00am then left around 12:30 to pick up a tool and never returned until 2:40pm. So I had 2 days wasted. I never received the 30 minute complimentary call saying he was on the way.

Stay as far away from McCarthy Services as possible. Once they take your money, you are on your own. I was quoted a price for one brand HVAC unit (inside and outside unit), paid in full, and received a mix and match of two brands for the inside and outside unit. After reaching out to the sales guy to explain, he shut me off saying both brands are the same manufacturer and stopped responding to me. Keep in mind, had I picked the other brand that I opted not to purchase, they would have charged me more and ripped me off due to the brand being “high end top of the line”. I called asking for a manager. I got a call back from one person claiming to be a manager and after I explained my situation, he said he would pull up my contract and give me a call so they can resolve the issue. It has been 3 weeks and I have yet to receive that call back. I tried calling the main office few times only to be told that the managers are all on a meeting call and would return my call back. I still have not heard from anyone as of this review. So stay away from these guys’ shady business.

I needed a hot water heater. I went to Lowe’s website to review the products and selected info about installation. The next morning, Debbie from McCarthy services contacted me to arrange someone to come out and assess my needs. Brian came out and was very knowledgeable and helpful about what was needed. He was able to schedule installation of a new water heater for the next day. Michael and Guermo were my installers and came to my home ready to work. At the completion of the job, Michael showed what was done. They cleaned the area where they were working and left. I’m very pleased with my new hot water heater. Thank you!!
