MSCO - Mechanical Service Company

The gentleman that came out was a nice guy but I am not happy with the process. I understand the $140 service call for after hours. It was a Sunday. I told him the problem and he checked the outside unit. Came inside and checked the upstairs unit. Told me there was a bad capacitor outside and he already replaced it and he would need to work up a price. I look up the price on them and see they are about $20. Total of 30 minutes on the outside unit and inside for upper unit. Then 15 minutes sitting in his truck. Comes to my door and tells me it was a $240 repair. That's $220ish for labor. 30 minutes of labor. So my total was $380 for 30 minutes of labor and a $20 part. So based on this they charge $440 an hour for labor. I should have been told how much it would cost after diagnosis not after it was done. Will not be using these guys anymore, they are not transparent and sneaky.

I was recommended MSCO by my neighbor who had them replace her HVAC unit last spring. We had gotten quotes from a few other places but we decided to go with MSCO because Travis seemed the most knowledgeable and honest, their prices were extremely competitive if not on the lower end of what we’ve seen from others as well. Travis was on time, very responsive to text and phone calls when we had questions after the initial quote and he was able to get us a contract within an hour of the last call. We’re having our installation in two weeks just in time for warmer weather.

Kudos to Rick- service technician- for all of his many years of experience and professionalism. Always a pleasure to see Rick show up for our routine maintenance... He is ready to explain concepts and to help the customer out. Rick is a real gem, and a man with such qualities is what makes MSCO the company for us. Thank you!

MSCO technicians and office staff have a very high standard of professionalism. Today we met Donovan and his service was excellent. Also, thanks to Belinda for her usual excellent standard in coordinating between customer and technician.

It was a thorough inspection and cleaning of our units. David wore booties in my house which I appreciate and was very professional. I was quoted on the phone with an additional unit the cost would be $99 but we were charged $119. My other gripe is that we have a giant stain in or grass where the guy cleaned something out in the yard and use chemicals. I have pics but I don’t see a way to attach it. I would like to give 3 stars if the giant yellow stain remains in my grass.

I have used Mechanical Service Co. for many years. "Jaden" came yesterday to check my heating and cooling system. I must admit he did a better job of cleaning and installing a new filter than anyone I have ever seen! His attention to detail is very good! Lynda E.

Our service tech, Tom, was very professional and I feel he went above and beyond to satisfy our needs. The office staff that I interfaced with was also very professional and a pleaure to talk to.

My technician was so friendly and professional. Kept me updated about where they were in the process, were quick and efficient- all while being gracious of my crazy dogs! I always have the best experience with MSCO

Just want to thank Robert Smith and his guys at MSCO. They showed up on time and got my heat back up in running quickly. I felt I got an honest price for an honest repair. I know I will need to replace my old system in the next year or so and MSCO will earn my business for that as well.

We have been a happy customer for three years. There a alesman, technicians, and phone representatives are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They provide excellent service and have exceeded our expectations. We plan to use there services for years to come.
