We purchased a new water heater from Banner and they installed it at our home in July of 2019. Unfortunately, the pilot kept going off beginning in January of 2020. After 10 service calls for this issue between January of 2020 to January of 2021, Banner removed the water heater and installed a new one, which so far has had no issues. The important thing is that throughout the troubling situation, Banner always arrived quickly to restart the pilot light and continued to troubleshoot until deciding the best solution was to replace the water heater. We were not charged for any of the service calls, new parts, retrofitting or finally the replacement water heater. This company truly values its customers and provides caring and professional service under trying circumstances. We heartily recommend Banner and will certainly call on them for our future HVAC needs.

Banner did a natural gas line install for us in September. Very good communications. They worked with us in determining where the run would go, and calculated the correct pipe size. The meter had to be upsized, which they coordinated with Avista. The work they did was excellent and the price was fair. Would use them again without hesitation.

Banner saved us hundreds of $ by suggesting a simple A/C repair we could make instead of using a costly technician.
They deliver propane on a regular schedule. They are so reliable we never have to call for delivery. Drivers are very professional and affable. We highly recommend Banner Fuel.

We had them run a gas line for us. They were extremely professional and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

We have relied on Banner for maintaining our furnace and air conditioning since buying our house 16 years ago. In that time we've replaced both the aging furnace from 1968, and most recently the air conditioning unit from 1984! With both purchases Banner's pricing was competitive. Their sales staff was friendly and knowledgable, but not pushy. The install team and the regular maintenance people are always prompt, professional, and thorough. We couldn't be happier with Banner's service and products.

Air conditioner went out on 110 degree day
Called another service and they were four days out. Banner was recommended and they showed the next day. Shawn was awesome, taught me some things I didn't know, and no repairs were made. He wrote it off as courtesy call at no charge. What great service...! Will call them again any problems in the future. Banner ROCKS...! THANK YOU! Herman Marchetti

I do not post reviews, however I am giving two thumbs up to my experience with the people at Banner Furnace and Fuel. Tim was honest and full of integrity. Shawn was personable and gave wonderful customer service. I will use their services in the future for all my HVAC needs.

Banner is awesome! Called this a.m. they said that they would work me in throughout the day for a furnace service call. Furnace tech Bernie showed up and diagnosed and fixed my older furnace! Very pleased with his service and that they were able to squeeze me in on a same-day call...very fair price! Will definitely do business with Banner in the future.

Repair man was great. Couldn’t fix our furnace in our 900 sqft —110 year old house but was informed and professional. The salesman they sent the next day was not impressive and was insulting. He made 1/2 an effort to wear a mask in my house “as is company policy” but couldn’t/wouldn’t cover his nose. His bids for a simple electric furnace were from $1,600 to $14,000. He does not appear to know much about HVAC at all. He felt the need to discuss personal political views as to why GAS won’t be available in my country neighborhood anytime soon. (Pretty sure we don’t need gas to power an electric furnace.) We don’t even have city water or hard internet available here so that was not a surprise. However, I’m pretty sure none of it has anything to do with what is happening in Olympia. To further this ridiculousness, after he left, a different salesman called to come do the estimate, unaware someone had already been here that very day. When my husband informed him of the pricing that was discussed, we promptly received a text doubling those figures with an apology of “not knowing how much an electric furnace costs” and the fact that “everything is getting more expensive”. Banner’s process to sell you a furnace needs some revamping in my opinion. It seems they think they are the only game in town. It is unfortunate they don’t hire qualified sales people. This guy might as well have been trying to sell me ice in the Arctic and for top dollar or not … not really sure how much it would be. What a joke. We currently heat solely with wood and have for the last 8 years. It’s not like we are desperately trying to stay warm, even though it seems Banner would take advantage of that situation if it were true. I do not recommend dealing with this company ever. We own a few rental properties. One is a 2500 sqft 4 level home which we had a furnace repaired AND central AC installed without issue and the cost was about $4500. Of course this was a few years ago and by a reputable company in town. I only chose to call Banner in this instance as they have been the only company in the past to service our current furnace and placed a convenient sticker on the side of it. Also, the repair man recommended we buy from them as he is required to do I’m sure. Is there honest business in this world anymore or are we just out to get as much as we can for as little effort as possible? At least hire folks with knowledge of what they are supposed to be selling.
