Ethan Riley was incredibly kind and professional during our AC and furnace tune up. We have a very curious three year old and is usually very talkative and interested in the technicians we’ve worked with recently. Ethan was fun and let my daughter “help” him and made her morning. Thank you Ethan!

Thomas the technician was professional, friendly, and did a good job. The whole process was easy and above my expectations as we all know it's a dice roll when it comes to any stranger coming over to your home.

We will be using Cougar again for maintenance and *fingers crossed* replacing our heater in the far far future.

If this is your first choice to call, DEFINITELY get a second opinion!!! Definitely felt like all they wanted to do was tell me they couldn’t fix anything to get me to purchase BOTH a new furnace and A/C. I called when my A/C stopped working and was almost immediately told it could not be fixed and was advised to get a new unit. My system is on the older side so all of that seemed legit initially, but I did notice how quickly the technician determined it wasn’t fixable or that fixing it would potentially cost me what a new unit would be. Also he pulled the fuse out of the fuse box outside and left it like that as well as leaving the top of the unit unscrewed with the screws simply sitting there which could have ended up blown off by the wind (later telling me it was for safety reason but is it normal to leave parts undone and not put back together?). Was also told by Cougar that the R22 refrigerant is $600 per pound and I would need maybe 5 or 6 pounds to MAYBE fix it. However, the other company quoted me $120 per pound, and I only needed ONE to have it up and running in just over an hour after their arrival. The new company was able to fix my AC with no problem! The Cougar technician advised me to speak to their sales department and their guy advised me to have my FURNACE replaced along with the A/C. Nothing was even wrong with my furnace! He sat there with me going over price quotes that were almost 20K!! Had I listened to the advice of Cougar, I would have been out THOUSANDS of dollars replacing a furnace that is in great shape along with buying a new A/C. Was only set back by their service fee which was still a waste, but better than what was quoted. Also avoid companies that give you a “set rate” for their services. An honest company charges by the hour so you know what you are getting and it should be itemized. Definitely reconsider your options before moving forward and again, get a 2nd opinion from a company with not a ton of bad reviews from the last year. Cougar has a LOT. You’ve been warned!

Cougar Heating and Air replaced my old furnace and AC in one day. Their tech, Alban inspected our old system and confirmed my suspicion that it was failing. Tyler, the Cougar sales rep gave us a great deal on a new, high efficiency system that complies with the new 2023 WA and federal DOE rules. BillyMac showed up the next day and removed the old AC unit outside and gas furnace inside. He finished the job in one day! Today, Judah showed up on time to ensure our satisfaction with everything. I requested him to move the water condensation pump to another location and he did without hesitation. I highly recommend calling Cougar and requesting Alban to inspect your system for service check up, repair or replacement. Tyler will ensure you get the system you need and want, and BillyMac and Judah will install, test, and ensure your satisfaction. Great job, Cougar!

Jason came out to do our annual, and was awesome. We currently are in the middle of a big remodel and because of all the dust had been having some issues. He addressed it all and is helping us replace our black thermostat for a white one to match the esthetic!

Jason was amazing. Very knowledgeable, personable, and helpful. He also showed a ton of initiative through the months-long process of repairing our HVAC system (not at all a fault of Jason), showing up on his own to install parts and calling on his own to give us status updates and such. He was absolutely fantastic.

Cougar mechanical was great. I called and they had availability the next day. Roman the technician was on time, really informative and friendly. He troubleshooted and replaced my furnace ignitor quickly and at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend their services.
